Very nice & clean house BUT the well water had an odor & a light film left on your hands. Luckily we brought our own water. Privacy in the bathroom and bedroom were non-existent. The blinds were pre-set and half to partially closed with no draw strings to close. I could see my wife in the bathroom from the driveway when the lights were on in the evening. Nice kitchen area but there were no kitchen towels for drying dishes. Other than that nice place to stay!
The house was very nice. Clean interior. The outside of the house could use a little bit of cleaning (dead bugs, dirt and grime around the gutters and vinyl siding, etc. but not enough to discourage me from wanting return. I loved using the fire bowl in the backyard, but there was no firewood provided. I had to purchase it. No big deal, but that would have been nice. The fridge was nice, but I couldn't figure out how to make ice, and there was no ice in there. The living area has a large sectional, but the pictures don't show it. The TV's are Roku, so don't expect all of the traditional channels. Like I couldn't watch the Monday Night Football game. Overall, a very nice place to stay, clean interior and nice outdoor area. I'd stay again.
This was our second visit to this property. We jusy love the location and it fits our families needs! It is in a cute little neighborhood, easy to walk and ride bikes with our children with beuatfil lake views. It's a quick trip to Jamestown State Park for hiking and the beach/playground. We had a great stay during labor day weekend.
The house was perfect for our family of four, offering plenty of space to relax and play. It was exceptionally clean, and both the kitchen and bathroom were beautifully updated with modern appliances and fixturesâseriously, the photos donât do justice to how well-appointed and comfortable the home truly is.Despite temperatures reaching the 90s during our stay, the central air conditioning kept the house comfortably cool both day and night. We had no issues with the Wi-Fi or water, as mentioned in some other reviews. In fact, the host kindly stopped by the morning of our arrival to confirm everything was working properly, which gave us peace of mind since my wife and I were working remotely. The backyard was a highlight for our kids, who played whiffleball all weekend, and we enjoyed sâmores around the fire pit each evening. The Welcome Inn was less than a 10 minute walk away and made for a great spot for dinner, drinks, and yard games. Pymatuning State Park was also just a short drive from the house, making it easy to enjoy everything that the lake has to offer. All in all, we had a great experience and would not hesitate to rebook.
Stayed for 3 nights with wife and loved the house and location. Close to everything you need! Property manager was quick to respond if we had any questions. The property itself was very clean and well kept, also appeared to be remodeled recently. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway or a place to stay during a fishing trip at Pymatuning! Thank you
The property was very cute and clean, with all amenities as described. Communication with the host was easy and all necessary information was provided.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The water issue mentioned in other reviews seems to have been resolved. We did not detect the Sulphur smell at all.Areas for improvement are first of all, more towels. There's literally nothing other than bath towels in the house. It would've been really nice to have hand towels and washcloths in the bathroom and some towels to use in the kitchen. We used the grill for dinner one night and purchased tongs (which we left at the house) because there were no grill tools available. The two other things lacking in the kitchen were a cutting board, and the icemaker in the freezer was nonfunctional.I mentioned these items simply because they would make the stay in your home that much more comfortable for your guests.Thank you for allowing us the use of this home.
We've stayed here before and it's always been clean and beautiful. Soft furnishings and modern appliances. Only minutes from Pymatuning State Park. The only problem was that this time the water was really fowl. I assume it's well water and understand that it shouldn't be drank but it was very sulfuric and filled the house with a rotten egg smell. I had to boil it to wash my baby's bottles and we didn't feel particularly clean from the shower. Some maintenance may be in order. Also, I would suggest warning renters not to drink the water including not using it to make coffee as some people may not know the dangers. Also, providing some bottled water would be a thoughtful touch. boil eater to clean my baby's bottles
Spent 4 days at this location. This was a short getaway with my brother to get in some overdue fishing on the lake. We found the house to be perfect for our trip. The house was well stocked with essentials and very well kept and clean. Thereâs plenty of room in the driveway for a boat plus another truck. There are boat launches very close by to the north and south. We enjoyed the back deck in the evening for grilling. If I could make one suggestion it would be to add a coffee maker not just a kuric. I took my own because I read from another review that there was only a kuric on location. Overall great little house
This house was such a delight. When we opened the door, we were so excited to see that everything inside is brand new and beautifully and serenely decorated! Every corner of the house was immaculate and it was supplied with everything we needed. (It was chilly weather, so we didnât sit outside, but in warmer weather you would want to bring folding chairs for relaxing if you have more than two people). In a lot of reviews they mentioned that the water smelled bad; but that must have been fixed because the water was fine! I would highly recommend this lovely vacation home.
Property had everything we needed! It was a winter visit to Pymatuning so we didnât get to use the outdoor amenities but inside was clean and spacious. Brooke was immediately accessible. Would book again!
So much potential here for a young family looking for a get-away. Heads up regarding water, very strong sulfur smell. Bring bottled water. Bring bath towels. Coffee pot was a Keurig, so bring pods. Also, bring ice cubes . Relax.
Very nice, well stocked, clean. Well water had an odor, but used bottled water and just quick showers. Just a suggestion to have wash clothes for showers and kitchen towels and wash clothes for kitchen. We had a very nice quiet stay and left rejuvenated when we left.
