Staff were efficient, the room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean, and the hotel in general was attractive. The decor is a bit worn and dated, but not enough to affect the enjoyment of the stay. I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which was a great convenience after a long day's driving. The food was acceptable if a bit overpriced. It's not a restaurant I would go out of my way to visit. The orange juice they served was on the edge of freshness (a distinct alcohol smell) and the fish wasn't as fresh as one might hope although it was very palatable. I left too early to avail myself of the breakfast menu. I recommend this hotel.

Room was a clean, bathroom excellent but main room a tiny bit tired, though very comfortable; we were in one of the handful of ground floor rooms and I do wonder if these are a bit like the 'coach drivers' rooms you sometimes get in some hotels that aren't quite as up to date as the rest - only going by the photos on this site? Staff very friendly though and breakfast was excellent, as was the 'handy' pub/lounge on the end. Ideal for ferry and would stay here again (if they'd have us!).

Good hotel for a night’s stay, comfy bed and nice big room, quiet at night, really good food both dinner and at breakfast. Only downside was the quilt was too heavy and hot for the time of year, which made it a bit of an uncomfortable night as window could only be opened a little bit.

Made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Rooms clean and modern. Shower was good. Plenty of food options and a nice pub attached (with unobtrusive sports tv). 15 mins from Rosslare port. Perfect!

This is a budget hotel and our stay was a short overnight prior to catching the morning ferry from Rosslare, so I am trying to put it into perspective. Plus points: it is very convenient for Rosslare and the evening meal and inclusive breakfast there are very good. Very good service too and we cannot praise the staff highly enough. Minus points: it is on a busy main road and the rooms in the front can be noisy with the window open. We needed the window open because in the absence of air con the west facing room got rather hot and stuffy. Though a desk fan in the room mitigated this to some extent. The TV only had a limited number of channels working. The room was big enough, but with limited facilities, and except for the temperature in warm weather it was comfortable. To be honest, the room especially looks in need of refurbishment. But given its location and price we were content with our stay.
