The room was super clean and smelled great. Lovely view of the waterfall from our 'unit', #4. Excellent location close to town so easy to walk. Bed was super large and the shower was also big and powerful. Loved meeting Oscar who is just adorable, though owning a Shih Tzu myself I may be a little biased. If I ever stay in Whakatane again, this will be my first choice.

Really pleased with our top floor room once again. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Basic amenities such as toaster, microwave, kettle, hairdryer and iron included. Crockery, glasses and cutlery for 2. TV included Sky channels. Towels had a luxurious feel. Bedding was lovely - especially appreciated were the different sized pillows. The Com Plex is situated a leisurely three minute walk to the start of the shops. There are places to eat nearby. Two supermarkets are within walking distance.

Motel was new. Room was very clean and was stylish. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with kettle, microwave, mugs, crockery and cutlery. Parking adjacent to the room. A short walk to restaurants and the centre of Whakatane. Wifi fast. I didn't try the TV which had lots of channels. A table to work from. Aircon. Bed large and comfortable. Everything was there. Excellent.

The room was modern and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful with all our odd requests. The unit had everything we needed and more. The location was great because it was so close to Whakatane city center and close to the road going to Ohope when we wanted to go to the beach.
