Overall a great place. Clean, close to free shuttle to the slopes. One big negative I'd suggest be fixed (others have mentioned previously) :Please get a new mattress in the master. There are two deep valleys in the mattress that give you a bit of a back ache and ensure you can't snuggle up to your significant other.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal. Just a short walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and village stroll. Short ride to the base, Lost Lake, or any number of trails around town. The Lagoons are a quiet property and I spent several mornings having breakfast sitting in front of the fountain watching dragonflies. The condo has all the amenities you need to cook meals and after we had the gas tank replaced by guest services we grilled most nights. The only thing that wasnât amazing was the mattress in the master - some pretty worn sunken areas made for sore backs. Otherwise our stay was perfect and we canât wait to come back next year!
Another great annual family ski vacation. Location, amenities, marketplace, shuttle to gondola were perfect. Staying here second year running and the place is furnished to meet all requirements. Washer dryer for daily cleansing after all day skiing and full kitchen for meals if required. Ground floor so donât have to carry skis. Will stay again.
Property was nice. Accessible to the village. The check in process however was not clear and very confusing-we were not told where to go to check in, then once we found the concierge, they gave us directions to the parking and building but there was no address or building number-that could be done better but otherwise great location.
This unit has everything you could need. The kitchen was well stocked and we really appreciated the full-size toiletries in the washroom. The location is brilliant, close to everything but far enough away from excessive noise. It is a bottom unit so you can hear everything from upstairs but travellers seem to respect the quiet time.
All in all it was an excellent unit and we will definitely return! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience:-)
Great location. Close enough to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Spacious property with all amenities. Even some spices, coffee, sugar etc which was very convenient. Would recommend to any who are looking for a place in Whistler.
A nice apartment located on ground level, with very easy access to the parking lot and a good secure bike storage in the underground parking. Very quiet.
I recommend this place for a MTB holiday in Whistler.
Had a good time and it was a nice condo to stay in. Just make sure that VRBO or the landowner make sure they send you the information to get into the unit yet otherwise itâs quite a process and a hassle
Great location. If more then one person wants to shower you need t wait about 6 hours to get hot water again. Wasn't nice after a full day of biking in the rain.
The property was well stocked and in a great location, close to the village. It was a great layout for our family of four.
We did find it to be a bit loud as we could hear the people in the unit above us. Loading and unloading is not the easiest as you either need to trek up and down a narrow staircase to the parkade or park in a 10 minute loading zone on the main road.
Overall a very good stay - we had plenty of space between the three of us, and the unit had everything we needed. The master bathroomâs drain wasnât working properly, but other than that, the unit was as expected. Iâd recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in Whistler!
The place was 10 mins from the lifts, across the street from the best food / grocery in the village and the place was perfect for our needs. We were working remotely and the host upgraded the WiFi to help our work setup! Would absolutely stay again, thanks so much!!
This was a great location. Marketplace was about a two minute walk and the free shuttle right across the street. The kitchen is really well equipped. Having a spice rack and a few staples is fantastic and so appreciated. A lot of places don't have that. Also loved the boot warmer! I went home and immediately ordered one. Fantastic to have. Communication was okay but somehow we didn't get an email with check in until very late. The day before I hadn't received anything. I didn't realize this was handled through a rental agency and so it was a little confusing. However, once they realized that an email had somehow not been sent to me, they moved very quickly and check in and entry were super easy. My only criticism of the unit is some of the furniture needs updating. The bed in the master bedroom is great but the bed in the second bedroom is very uncomfortable. It might be okay for kids but we were 4 adults and my son and his GF had a really bad time with the mattress on the bunk bed. The living room furniture is also very saggy but it was tolerable whereas the bed was quite problematic.
Also be warned that the hot water heater I guess isn't huge. I ran a jacuzzi bath one evening after skiing and there was no water for anyone to have a shower after that and it didn't heat up again for about 2 hours or more.
I wouldn't let it stop me from booking here again though as mostly we had a great stay. I was also surprised how quiet it was considering how close it is to the village and the road. A very pleasant complex and unit.
The property is fine, it is nothing fancy but good and perfect for a family with children. The communication with the property owner was minimal but sufficient. Only difficulty was that property owner did not supply precise information/address of property manager/check-in location. Had to figure that out myself. Property manager was friendly, efficient and helpful.
Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken and that information was not given before entering the property. Luckily we had planned to eat out most meals anyway, however, some notification would have been good.
