Not as good as before, probably won't be back

It was almost another great stay at Summit Lodge, great location, fantastic cleanliness (particularly from Iryena) and good service from the bike concierge staff. However, staying in room 212 the neighbour's A/C unit was exceptionally loud (to the point of it waking us up at 3am every night). Although it wasn't fixed, on our third mentioning of this to reception they were kind enough to move us into a different room which was greatly appreciated (the previous time we mentioned it the girl on reception said she couldn't get our neighbours to turn their A/C down (and then laughed as we left) , which obviously isnt what we wanted - just a more reasonable, quieter A/C unit nextdoor!!!). Overall, once we moved rooms an OK stay but I'm not sure our allegiance to Summit Lodge in Whistler remains.

We really enjoyed the staff and per friendliness of this hotel! It was super convenient and located so close to tons of shops and restaurants. The few things that were not great - the hot tub temperature was warm at best. The jets were super weak. This was something we were very much looking forward to and we were very disappointed. The rooms mattresses were not comfy and the air conditioning didn’t work- it was a difficult sleep with a hot room. I hope they upgrade and fix these items in the future.

We had a great week in Whistler for our anniversary! The Summit Lodge is perfectly located in the Whistler Village with a short walk to all Whistler has to offer. Very friendly staff and our room with a King bed was perfect! We will be going back!

Great stay in Whistler, would recommend

Great village location for a family to explore Whistler, staff helpful and everything on the doorstep. This was a very warm summer and the air con & pool were very much needed. Super clean hotel, rooms very well cleaned, nice shower, comfortable beds and a good hotel. Good value for the price we paid, got the good experience we expected. Parking is tricky as the underground is very tight but the staff pointed us to the long term local parking which was easier and cheaper, limited hassle.
