The addition of day time shades was great. It kept the room feeling bright and inviting during the day. They also opened up the lobby and offer breakfast on the morning, so that's great to see as well. Overall pleased so far with my stay.

Get rid of the sign.

It seems that this newly renovated property is nostalgic for its previous era, since it still has its giant "Motel" signs. The new rooms are nice but small, not great for a family trip, but great for a quick business trip. BUGS! There are bugs everywhere. I assume this is their first summer since the renovation, but there are flies and bugs all over the property and rooms. Most aren't too big, so you might be able to ignore if you're used to that, but I'm not.

With the name of the property I was surprised it was a motel. I guess I should have looked at pictures. Staff were absolutely lovely, and they did the room every single day. The continental breakfast was good. There is a 6 lane highway right behind the hotel, so it took me a night to get used to the noise. Air conditioning is good, shower is nice. But the main door up to the room has a gap so I would bet it would be cold in the winter.

Although the pictures are accurate and the rooms seem to be renovated, the rooms were not clean. Our room smelled like an ashtray, had questionable bodily fluid stains on the bedding, and dirty towels. The locks on the door looked like someone had pushed the door in at some point. We arrived late with the intention of getting a good night sleep and instead slept fully clothed and left first thing in the morning. I was surprised there were so many good reviews. I would not choose to stay here.
