I personally had a great stay and no complaints, other than the rooms in the primary house get really warm compared to the rest of the house. The property was spacious and attractive. I stayed with 4 others and they had a little trouble in the second house with bugs biting them. They also had low water pressure over that way but it was great in the main house. We experienced two power outages in our 9 day stay. On the bright side the place had all the amenities you could want. It took a few days to figure out the hot tub because we didn't realize that the breaker was tripped up but maintenance was great about helping us figure it out. Also, we never could locate the wifi, but the reception wasn't bad. The office was very accommodating and kept in communication, often with us to make sure everything was going well or to be available to help us out.
The property was nice with great outside space. Ample parking. Great common spaces yet adequate room for privacy. Fire pit/hot tub with a supply of wood for burning. The gas grill was dirty but had tools for cleaning so I did it. Otherwise the property was clean. 1 burned out light bulb and could not find any anywhere but that is something that could easily be overlooked so no biggie. It was not fancy, but the living room furniture was very comfy. Almost too so. I tended to fall asleep in front of the fireplace. I would book again. It was very convenient to town while be secluded by woods and wildlife.
We booked Breezy Ridge for a long weekend and it didn't just check all the boxes, it nailed them!
The location is close enough to get to all the fun things to do in the area with a short drive but still remote enough that once you get to the cabin you feel like you are just about the only people on the mountain. We literally saw only about four cars on the road leading to the cabin the four days we were there.
The hot tub, fire pit and guest house were just awesome too. Our 20 something kids and their friends hung out in the guest house each night sitting around the poker table having a great time.
We will without question be booking Breezy Ridge again for a future trip to the Smoky Mountains.
We came from all over to honor our Dad & grandfather. Breezy Ridge was an amazing place to come together, tell stories while sitting around the fire pit. Thank you
