Easy parking on the street in front. ( In October) Great view of the harbour and lovely sunrise. The house is lovely, very clean, fully equipped and spacious over 3 floors. The washer and dryer are tucked under the stairs and very much appreciated by NC500 road trippers. The owner provided timely check in info. Thanks Adam!
This property is down by the harbour with easy parking at front door. The property is over 3 stories with the bedrooms on the top floor. We left our luggage downstairs and just took up what we needed. The bathroom is on the second floor and if you need to use it during the night, itâs just a little inconvenient. There are 2 lounge areas in different floors which is also a little unusual. The kitchen could do with some extra accessories and basic supplies which would really make peopleâs stays more comfortable. There are only 2 wine glasses, a 2 bedroom apartment would assume more than 2 people would often stay. The 2 beer glasses, clearly stolen from pubs which donât match! Just the little things, would be helpful to have some food wraps. The salt had water on it so unusable and the downstairs TV is difficult to use, some instructions would be helpful. Overall a reasonable option to put your head down for the night.
A house to yourself on the harbour. Simple arrival email giving details of code and keys. Was great to have a whole house to ourselves after 5 weeks of room only.
House by the Harbour was very comfortable and cozy. It was a joy to be in a quiet town like Wick. Walking distance to the seashore, food, drink & distillery.
An exceptional property with lovely views across the harbour. No suitable for someone with mobility issues or toddlers (due to spiral, open staircase). House on three floors with excellent facilities including laundry.
KEY TIPS
1) Call property prior to arrival to arrange check in (via wall-mounted keysafe);
2) If arriving by train, visit Coop behind station BEFORE heading 15 mins downhill to property;
3) Wetherspoons great in town (15 mins walk)
4) Quite a call on taxis so book hour prior to journey required is best.
