Not far from historic Colonial Williamsburg, this upscale resort boasts apartment- style accommodations with plenty of space for the family to be comfortable and united. The past will come to life as you will be surrounded by historic exhibits. The feel of the colonial times will be present, with all of the comforts of this modern age.



Governor's Green includes large, tastefully decorated suites with a fully equipped kitchenette or kitchen, as well as a spacious living room with sofa. Cable TV, DVD players, and video game consoles are included. Convenient washer and dryer is located in unit. Some rooms have a balcony and a spa bath.



Various activities are available and an indoor and outdoor pool will keep the family united while having fun. Challenge the kids in the arcade or at a game of mini-golf. Need to tend to a workout before the days' adventure? The fitness center will help you achieve that.

Let us know if you have a preference to be near a specific location throughout the resort or if you would like a specific view. The resort is currently experiencing a balcony restoration project. During this time, balconies in select suites and some areas will not be available and will be blocked off. Additionally, guests may encounter noise, dust, and odors, and work crew onsite. All project updates will be announced as they become available.

Was okay. First night we found a cockroach in our room. Submitted a photo per front office request. They moved us which was great but did not offer a refund for the first night as we slept in that room and didn’t get any sleep. Will not return.

Resort had a lot to offer. Pools, mini golf, trails were all enjoyable. Close to lots of restaurants and Colonial Williamsburg. The only downside was a solicitation to a “time share” before getting keys.

Very nice property!

We were in town just for a couple of nights for a golf tournament. The unit was perfect for our needs. Check in process was a pleasure and there was absolutely no pressure to attend a time share tour as some had indicated in other reviews. Property was well kept and our room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable as well.

The common areas like pool, gym and games were amazing! Everything was clean and nothing out of place. The rooms were so spacious, lots of room to spread out with 5 people. Definitely would stay here again!

Great location and very clean. Kids enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and sitting by the fire. The only downside is, they try to get you to go to a timeshare meeting when you first check in. Other than that, I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The suite itself was spacious, clean and well- stocked. Had everything we might need to stay for the 3 days we were there. Location was great and the on site staff was friendly. Great stay for family of 4

The property was clean and lots of space for our family of 4. We were close to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown and Busch Gardens. My 7 yo slept better there than at home! Only minor thing is that the unit is near the elevator so you hear it in the primary bedroom but it didn’t keep anyone up.

Great place

I was hesitant after seeing some negative reviews but for a family of 5 we were so comfortable. The room had everything we needed! I was nervous about being pressured to attend a time share presentation but they were not pushy. We were asked upon check in we declined and 5 days into our stay they sent a text but again not pushy no pressure. I’d love to stay again if we ever decided to go back.

I booked a 2 bedroom unit and upon arriving i received a 1 bedroom with 1 king-size bed for 3 adults and 2 children. Was told the 2 bedroom was an upgrade and they didn't have any available. Will not be back to this resort
