This is a very average motel not a hotel. It’s one of those with 2 floors, stairs and all doors facing outside the building. Do not be fooled by those misleading pictures put up. Found a lot of spiderwebs in my room as well.

Clean room, easy access, lower priced hotel for the area. Room was clean and comfortable, quiet, got a good night's sleep. No breakfast anymore, had to eat at Bob Evans next door. This is my third stay at this hotel, was a good experience.

Thought it was very expensive for the quality. I paid in advanced but was told I still owed $2 for hotel fee. When I asked what that was for I was told “it’s a hotel fee”. I honestly don’t feel it was legit but paid it anyway.

Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was filthy inside and outside. My husband and I were in town to visit our son at Bucknell and the location of this hotel was satisfactory for that. I knew once I pulled up to the hotel that I had made a huge mistake. The property is not well-maintained. The hallways were very dirty - q-tips on the ground as well as other debris. There were abandoned cars in the parking lot. The room had new flooring, new looking bedding, new looking wood furniture, and the mattresses were comfortable. However, the pillows were simply throw size pillows wrapped in pillow cases. The walls had not been wiped down so there was schmutz and dirty marks all over them everywhere. The surfaces hadn't been wiped down well so we could see finger prints all over everything. Both bathrooms had hair - both head and pubic hair - on the toilets, in the showers, and in the sinks. The furniture in the "suite" was filthy - we wouldn't sit on it. The couch was tiny with stains all over it. Then there were 2 stained wood chairs. There was one sad floor lamp that didn't come close to lighting up the room. The air conditioning did work well which was the highlight. The trim and corners of the room were dirty. We slept, touched as little as possible, and got the heck out of there. There were some fellow Bucknell parents but mostly guests that appeared to be living there. I will never stay there again.

Not sure how anyone rates this 5/5 or 4/5 or eve 3/5. This is maybe 2/5 at best. Plenty of stains on the curtains and rust stains on the bathroom floors and in the showers. There were boogers on the walls. Towels were at least 20 years old and had clearly been washed over a thousand times. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Just ok with extra charge for prepayment

The room is your standard room. You can tell it’s been refurbished. Surprisingly, the bed was comfortable. The toilet wobbled and the bathroom door showed where a kid did their doodling. For an older motel, it was relatively quiet. There was a pool, but was closed for the season. To get ice, we had to go across the courtyard as the closest machine wasn’t working. Overall, it was ok. As for the check-in, it was awful. I prepaid in full and I was informed that a surcharge for prepaying. What?? I never heard of such a thing. Absured!

The pictures on the website are not what you are getting when you arrive. The furniture is old and stained. The floors and walls are gross. We got into our room and I requested a new one because there were dry urine stains on the toilet and crumbs on the floor. I didn’t even want to sit in the bed. There were several mattresses out by the dumpster, I am not sure why that was. I felt very dirty staying there.
