We stayed in an accessible room, it was spacious for us considering we were not in any wheelchair. We booked this room because it was available. The bathroom was huge with a flat shower floor, no bathtub. The continental breakfast was basic, we saw biscuits and gravy which we didn't eat. We decided to checkout and have breakfast elsewhere.
I have stayed here every year for the last six years for a week in October/November. Each year the quality has declined. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in this year and saw new tvs. However, they are all internet based and not cable, so you have to sign in with a service unless you are happy with Rifleman reruns and such. It has been at least 40 years since I stayed at a hotel where you couldnât flip on the tv and see ESPN. We couldnât watch baseball playoffs or NFL games in the room or in the lobby. And the wifi is, and always has been, free and not worth it. Utterly useless. Iâm done. Iâm not to hard to please, and rarely post reviews for anything. Iâm not going back.
It is better to book through the property directly; any money that you might save going through Expedia - it will cost you to change the arrival or departure date if the need arises.
TV service was not acceptable, no local channels. Breakfast area was not picked up or cleaned up. No one was taking care of the area.
Check-in person was very helpful.
Breakfast was a joke . Not any healthy food or variety .Counters dirty nothing cleaned properly. Room mirrors covered in hair and finger prints. Had to get our own towels from downstairs.
The staff was friendly. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room wasnât very clean, the carpet felt sticky, there was crumbs or something on the table. Overall cleanliness was not good.
