For year-round outdoor sports and gorgeous scenery, try the Crafts Inn, which was designed in 1898 by Stanford White and is now registered as a National Historic Landmark. The Crafts Inn provides an indoor pool, racquetball court, and saunas. The Mount Snow ski area is within 6 miles which offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowboard park, mountain biking. In addition to the average annual snowfall of 15 feet, snowmaking ensures plenty of snow from mid-November to early May. In summer, enjoy swimming and boating on 14-mile-long Lake Whitingham, as well as playing tennis, golfing, and horseback riding.
The modern history of the Crafts Inn, as an RCI time-share resort, began with its purchase in 1980 and opened in 1982 which is now owned and operated by the Crafts Inn Owners Association.

Hosts were very pleasant. Accomodations were good, if a bit dated. The hot tub and sauna were a plus (even if the jets on the hot tub werent operational while a part was on order). The room was pleasant, and having the kitchen was very nice.

My friends and planned a fun ski weekend in VT. Unfortunate when we arrived the room felt neglected when we walked in. The pull out couch was dusty and stained in multiple areas. The sheets provided for the pull out couch were also stained. After a long ski day we were looking forward to a warm shower and the water took over 30 minutes to even feel remotely warm. We were also excited to enjoy the “all season” porch advertised on their website. However we were disappointed to see it was closed for the winter. The one positive of this stay was the warm welcome we received upon our arrival. The gentleman at the counter was very kind and helpful when we asked for new sheets.

My parents and I really loved the place!! The kitchen is complete with stuff. We felt so comfortable inside even it was freezing outside throughout the night. I love the indoor hot tub! It was relaxing.. The staff who accommodated us explained well all instructions. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back if I get the chance..
