The place was nice, clean, well stocked and comfortable. The scenic views were beautiful. If you are staying more than a night should bring extra paper products. You get one roll of each. Also pay close attention to the host fees. A bit high IMO which for a two night stay doubled the rate advertised on VRBO. Would stay again.
Canât tell you how much we loved this property. The windows made all the difference as we felt like we were in a tree house. We have stayed in VRBO several times and this is our favorite by far.
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful area. About 10 minutes away from Wimberley which was perfect. The only thing was we did have some issues with the hot tub⊠we contacted the host and was very prompt on response. I would recommend seeing if you can get the cover of the hot tub cleaned? It had a strong mildew smell. Bed was comfortable, and nice bathroom. I would definitely stay here again!
Terra Casita #2 was awesome! The best vrbo weâve stayed at. Beautiful view, quiet, private deck, beautiful interior, thoughtfully laid out and put together. We had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Was so relaxing being able to walk the property and seeing wild life. Nights were great hearing animals I'm not sure what they were. Only issue with cabin is the cleaning crew need to sweep and mop underneath the bed. Got bitten by spiders but that's country living for you, lol. Had a GREAT time!
This casita is a very charming well laid out accommodation for two and we enjoyed our stay especially how close it was to the winery/brewery and the Wimberly square. There are a couple of items that I think the owner might consider attending to that were not deal breakers for me, however might be for someone else. There are only two dinner (mismatched) plates in the casita. Might want to add 3 that match either one of the ones that are there. One of the windows is missing a blind. Not a deal breaker, just doesn't give the appearance that the casita is loved. I'd like to add that any questions I had were readily answered by the reps at Hill Country Premier Lodging. They were great to work with.
We spent a very relaxing week at this cute cottage. It was exactly as advertised - secluded, comfortable, and perfect for getting away from the hustle of everyday life. We enjoyed making simple meals in the cottage as well as going to explore the town of Wimberly. The property manager was very responsive to any small issue we had. Would definitely stay again!
Overall, it was a great stay, the only negatives were there was no grill as advertised, and we only had enough propane for the fire pit for one night. We would have really enjoyed a fire of the second night.
This property is amazing. It is located in an area about 10 minutes outside of downtown Wimberly amidst trees on a large piece of land. The sound of the birds in the morning and the view of the stars in the night sky were incredible. We even lucked out and got to see a couple of lines of satellites moving in the sky surrounded by stars and planets. The place itself was immaculate, clean, and fully furnished with kitchen items and more. It was even equipped with a stereo to play music inside or outside or both as you enjoy the private hot tub.The proximity to town made it easier to shop for groceries or dine out if you didn't feel like cooking there.Contact with the management company for question was relatively smooth as they responded to all questions. This place left a great impression on me. I loved it and loved the quiet and privacy of it and would love to make it there again.
The place was quiet and relaxing, away from traffic, which is what I needed, yet close to town. It was very clean, and the check-in process was easy. I had no issues with the codes for the gate or the casita. I would definitely recommend!
This was out second stay at this casita at windmill ranch. We found our stay to be just as good the second time around. The casitas are spaced out well and are are each secluded so you have a private space for your stay. The middle blind on the right side set of windows would not stay down. But it did not impact our stay and was a non issue regarding sunlight, etc. we recommend this property and any of the casitas and plan on visiting agin soon. Thanks so much for another great stay.
The stay was nice. The place was comfortable. Some of the accommodations could have been a little more. Like maybe a wine bottle opener and maybe more than one dish towel. But really overall was nice.
I went for a couple days to get some work done. The place is perfect for 1-2 people and was quiet and tree covered. The accommodations were comfortable and had all amenities I needed. I think it would be great to have some trails made out on the property to walk around. Thereâs not much to do but sit on the porch.Conâs:- team told me cleaning was going to be done in an hour and I could check in early so I went into town. But hours later I kept getting âthey should be done shortlyâ. I went to the property to wait and they hadnât come yet. They were just getting started. So that was weird. Ready by checkin time but misleading.- Shower was almost unusable due to lime and calcium buildup. It needs cleaning badly.- towels had what I can only hope was rust stains on them. I threw them on the floor until I found a clean one.- The tv instructions are very out of date and incorrect. Kinda weird to place them there at all.So I thought for the most part things were comfortable! But they need to spend some more time on details.
This place is beautiful. The cabins are new and well maintained, with comfortable furniture and bed. The kitchen is well appointed and bathroom is sizable. The windows show a calm hill country view, and the hot tub was just as promised. 4 stars for location because it doesn't really have a neighborhood, but it is walking distance to a winery and an easy drive to many other wineries, breweries, restaurants, and hiking/riding places. We'd absolutely come back for a long weekend again!
Quiet, modern, equipped incl kitchen so you can actually cook. Comfy bed and deck w shade a nice add. Out of the way but not too remote w a winery almost walking distance. Couple of minor details kept it from being 10/10 perfect but would definitely and gladly return! After hours communication prompt and helpful.
This place was perfect for a weekend away. Close to everything we did all weekend. Less than 15 minutes to everything. 8 minutes to Wimberley. The back patio was perfect and we enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Both recliners were broken. The one on the right listed to the right when reclined. Neither would go back down without serious muscle. At 105 lbs, I could not operate the chair on my own and with serious head, neck, and back injuries from a car accident not being told about the condition of the recliners exacerbated my injuries. The blind second to the right would not stay down. As we were there during a cold snap, this made the main room colder than need be. The overall decor, was very nice and quite inviting. We were there for a birthday weekend and to enjoy the game. The main television wouldnât work. Fortunately we brought a fire stick with us and were able to access the game through this means. The property had been contacted prior to ensure the channel could be accessed and were assured it could be! So grateful we brought back up!!! We would stay here again knowing now to ask if these things had been fixed! We enjoyed the watching the deer that they feed on the property and walking around on the grounds. Our place was quite private.
Loved our casita! Hot tub was great we couldnât figure out how to make the values blow more. The rule of if you get there early there is a charge and having to leave by 10 am was not good. 50 an hour. The king bed was very comfortable. The shower had no pressure and something was wrong with the rain shower head. We loved how quiet it was there. Beautiful art work! Overall we loved our time there!
