It was impossible to adjust the thermostat in the room. We had to reach out to the reception twice to have this adjusted from their side to be able to sleep. The hotel was under rennovation, so the breakfast was served in a bag (we were informed in advance, so no surprise there). Staff was very helpful and nice overall

Hotel is being refurbished... So no communal areas... Grab and go bag for breakfast as a replacement was poor... Experience was no better than a Travelodge which I wished I had booked instead

Customer service was very helpful and professional and friendly. Breakfast was a grab and go bag due to hotel refurbishment but none of this affected our stay and the grab and go bag had a good selection of breakfast goodies.

Very happy with our 1 night stay at Holiday Inn Windsor. We chose this hotel based on the close distance to legoland but we were pleasantly suprised to be staying in renovated rooms which are very luxurious. Great bedding, large TV, double ensuite rainshower! Lots of space in the rooms plus great additions (hangers, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, amenities). Downside was the limited breakfast options which was due to the renovations but staff were extremely helpful and were happy to swap out items to suit my 3 year old which made him smile. Very happy overall and would definitely stay against!

Excellent - would highly recommend!

Excellent location for the castle, town centre and LegoLand! Easy parking - although you do have to pay £15 for this. The room was bigger than I expected and so clean! The bathroom had a double shower. The breakfast was a grab bag due to renovations but the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was perfect in there. We did bring our own weetabix and milk etc for our toddler. The only thing that let it down was how uncomfortable the bed was - pillows and mattress were just too hard and firm. It was ok for one night - just a shame as it’s one of the nicest (cheaper) hotels I’ve stayed in.

Little getaway

I was very disappointed as there was no hot breakfast as anticipated on my booking. They are doing refurbishment so had breakfast bags which had stuff we didn't like so had to buy breakfast in the town.Also didn't know that you had to pay for parking which added to more expense .Have previously stayed there without these issues. I think an email about breakfast should have been sent to me Did stay 2 nights and saw the manager to complain

The Expedia booking didn’t state the hotel was being refurbished. No food available at the hotel and didn’t include the full breakfast (offered paper take out bags). No chair to sit on in the room. Probably would have been fine if not for the refurbishment going on.
