This property was great for a spring break trip with my son. It is an easy walk to the resort, restaurants, and lifts. The condo was clean and had just enough functionality in the kitchen for simple meals. The hot tub was a great addition since it was operational during our stay too.
Location is great, right across the street from the gondola. Easy check in. There were some issues with the unit itself- toilet seat porcelain covering eroded down to the wood underneath, meaning it can't be cleaned properly since wood is porous, deep indentation in bed that made you sink into the middle from age/extensive use and made for a bad night's sleep, body fluid of some sort on the spare pillow. The unit was also noisier than we expected, since it faces directly to the hot tub, and noise from other units permeates in easily as well. We've stayed at other Vacasa locations in the past, had good experiences, but this unit should be avoided until updates are made.
Central location was nice. Parking code never worked. Nobody was was available to help. There is no front help desk to help. No cellphone reception in that area so had to forget about trying to get non-local assistance. Neighboring room was very noisy which was a spoiler. Otherwise good skiing and close to some basic places to eat dinner.

Property was right across from the base of the mountain. 3-5 minute walk in boots to the gondola. Restaurants and convenience store in the same area. Condo is a pretty basic studio...no complaints. It was great having indoor parking on the ground floor. We just left our skis/poles in our car, but I think there is a ski locker. Overall perfect for my daughter and I to get in a quick two day ski trip.
Great property and location. A chest of drawers (maybe placed underneath TV) would be helpful for storage. The coffee pot did not go with the coffee maker even though they were the same brand. The coffee would not drip through bc the pot was too short. We placed knives under the pot so it would be high enough to trigger the water flow. Once we figured that out, we were good. Nice to be in walking distance of the gondola and village shopping. We would stay there again.
Very good experience, could use a few upgrades, big red stain under the chair and lots of stains on lamp shade . Ceiling fan couldnât be used had thick dust all over it and one of the outlets between bed and couch didnât work!! Hot tub wasnât working either .
This is not really a ski in ski out property. Its very close to winter park base but does require a walk across winter park drive to get in and out. I had kids with me otherwise i dont think it would have bothered me.
Hot tub is terrible. I was told it was closed, when clearly it was not and then once we did get in the condition was absolutely terrible. Jets did not work, controls were all broken, plaster was all crumbling around the sides etc. Pretty much everyone in there was moaning about how bad it was.
Room was ok. Clean enough which was most impirtant to us, but cooker did not work and there was not enough towels left for our group. In fairness they sorted that quickly for us but not without a bit of hassle.
Good space; great location. Worked well for small family
If a hotel room doesn't work for you but a full condo might be overkill, this is a great option. The location is excellent; very short walk to restaurants, lifts, etc.
We arrived late due to travel issues, but our parking pass got us into the garage with no problem! We were able to use our door code and easily enter the property only to find a filthy room. We contacted the property to request cleaning or alternate unit. Told it would be resolved within the hour. (It was 11:15pm) We waited an hour then called back to find out our initial work order wasnât submitted completely. The new agent kept us on the line while she submitted and followed up on the work order. She texted, called and emailed the local contact to no avail and agreed to reimburse us for a hotel for this night.
Next morning local contact made sure our room was cleaned, we were reimbursed for alternate first night and the cleaning fees would be returned to us.
The room was beautiful, the hot tub was being repaired, but everything else was as advertised. The fireplace kept us toasty warm, the big bathtub had arm rests, perfect to relax after a day of exploring! It was off season, which we knew- this location made a great home base to visit the National Park and explore some in the National Forest. Local restaurants did not disappoint! Durban Nepali & Strip and Tail were our favorites!
