There might be a niche for this western style place, Hyatt, Marriott this is not. Those places do not exist In Winthrop. Resort is older, run down, tv in room is small. Resort is not my style…. Just know what you’re getting , there was a wedding there the day we left. There is definitely a niche for it!

they called me and and said they needed to move me to a different room, I said no problem, but the tv and fridge did not work. They gave me a small refund. I'm not sure why they needed to move me. the second night was in the 2nd floor room as promised, it was nice. you will hear every cough, tv, etc. but for the price i guess it's ok

We very much enjoyed our river view room. Rustic wood vibe. Patio overlooking the river. Quiet and peaceful. And friendly helpful staff. Will stay there again if we go back to Winthrop.

No employees on site our entire visit. Our keys were left in an envelope and we had to return them in a drop box. Very impersonal and detached. The room didn't have decent curtains so we - and our children - fell asleep very late and woke up very early because of the sun. Frustrating for a family with young children and adults who want to sleep.

Stayed for a night and I’m not lying I couldn’t sleep whole night bcz of the extremely old heaters which were making CONSTANT NOISES for the whole night. Definitely, will look for another one next time.

Our room was just like the picture. We had lots of room and the bed was comfy. The shower head was rather low; I am 5’4 and it was at forehead level for me. The little balcony would be nice in the summer, but oddly enough we didn’t use it in 24 degree weather. It’s not far from town but it isn’t safe to walk on highway 20 so we drove in. Overall it was a nice stay. It is rustic, to go with the town’s theme, but we had everything we needed.
