We travel often to Middle Tennessee to visit family. We loved the comfort and privacy of Dogwood Cottage. It was much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plus, our mini dachshund, Smoky, approved as well! Christian was a wonderful host and responded quickly to questions. We will stay there again if possible.

We had a wonderful vacation at this great place. Pros: Clean, Spacious, Fully Stocked Kitchen, Full size Refrigerator and Stove make it great for stay at home cooking. Linens provided, Washer and Dryer, Front and back Porch. The best Hosts one could ever hope for! This is a charming "rustic" cabin out in the country. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings as you are out in the country but within 25 minute drive to cute Hallmark like towns. There is a great Amish style market close by (4 Corners Market and Deli) that we stopped at several times during the week for supplies. Thankful the Hosts noted this in their recommendations. The area is very quiet WITH country sounds. A few dogs in the distance. Owners have dogs but seldom could we hear them. We enjoyed the quiet crow of the Rooster in the morning along with a few other farm animals. The setting was so peaceful. Rolling green hills out back. The front porch was a favorite time to enjoy morning coffee. I don't think I have ever heard so many happy birds chirping. Late in the evening you would hear the usual crickets and other quiet country sounds. The road traffic was very limited. Maybe 20 vehicles a day and a few horse and buggies. That was also such a joy. The cabin is close to a corner so no one is driving by fast.

The host is very warm, friendly, and accommodating. The waners and their cabin are a great representation of this area's community and culture. Perfect peaceful farm escape in the middle of nowhere but somehow still conveniently located close to anything you could want to do or see. My family and I visited the yearly autumn street fair, cedarwood pumpkin patch, and the four corners amish store that had the best baked good youve ever tasted. The cabin is spotless, beautiful, and spacious. This is our second stay here and we hope to return every year

Directions were spot on—even in the dark! Place was very CLEAN and COZY! Bed was especially soft like a cloud! Christian was SUPERB about communicating and responding to messages! Outside grassy area is okay for dogs but we had soaked paws AND tennis shoes in the morning as we walked on the uneven terrain. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

It was nice and clean. The drive way does need a little more gravel to make sure we dont drive in the nice yard. We would stay again. We didnt cook much. We were mainly there to sleep. But all in all we liked it and was comfortable.

We had such an amazing time at this cute little house. Our favorite thing to do was just sit on the front porch and chat. In fact we lost track of time so often by doing this that we didn't really go many places. This was the perfect little place to catch up with long lost family. I stayed here for only one night, but it was lovely! Beautiful home, very spacious and clean, with 2 beautiful patios. They provide all the basics amenities. Dogwood Cottage was such a pleasant stay for us, so much more than we expected. Visiting our daughter in the area and having her able to stay with us during our visit there made our trip there even more special. The property added so much to the comfort and peacefulness that surrounded our stay there with the farm-like feel and amazing scenery along with the calming sound of the creek running nearby. The cottage was quaint and comfortable, very clean and furnished with everything we needed for our stay including fresh flowers to welcome us in and a dozen fresh eggs for us to enjoy. Being able to sit out on the porch throughout the day talking, drinking our coffee or tea in the morning or while winding down our day added that special touch to our stay at the cottage. Our hosts were very gracious and attentive as well checking in with us if anything was needed during our stay. They left special hand written notes that included places nearby to visit out for a meal or make a day trip out to experience what the area had to offer and enjoy, at one point even helping us with a low tire on our car by offering the use of an air compressor which we appreciated so much. Dogwood Cottage was truly a home away from home for us and would absolutely stay again.

Super Cute Cabin

I am looking for property in TN and picked this Woodbury cabin because it's off the beaten path. I really wanted to stay in a small town. There were enough restaurants and a market that made it easy to eat out or buy food to cook at the cabin. This place reminded me of where I grew up in Western Pennsylvania. It's a 30 minute easy drive to Murfreesboro. I had no issues finding it on GPS and was able to locate all necessities in the cabin. I'll be staying here again in the future and would recommend it to those who are looking to get away from their busy schedule.
