Stay at Shoreline Escape

Overall our stay was nice. House was just enough space for a family of four. The views were pretty and the deck and enclosed porch were pros. House was clean (kitchen could have been a bit more clean). The pool was the biggest hit with the kids, lazy river and poolside bar were great! Everyone we met were friendly and seeing deer on the side of the road was a special treat. We underestimated the amount of bugs we encountered..so bring your bug spray. It was disappointing to deal with so many that it made it a bit hard to sit out and enjoy the deck during the day or deck at night. The bugs were super loud at night. There are a few restaurants on the property as well as a few wineries in the area but we were disappointed to find out those were only open Thursday-Sunday. It would have been nice to know that before hand. Overall, the trip was fun and the kids enjoyed themselves. Innsbrook is a nice community.

Great outdoor getaway

Beautiful cabin, nestled in the woods. Plenty of amenities plenty of space for me and my family. It was refreshing to have a washer and dryer in the unit. My family and I took full advantage of the outdoor space playing in the water fishing as well as a fire in the pit. We had stayed in a cabin in this community once before but this one took the cake blew that one out of the water. Will definitely be bringing my family back.

Grandkids at the Lake

Excellent location. Secluded and very peaceful surroundings. The amenities were fantastic
great pool an golf course. A bit hard to find the house but got used to that quickly. Grandkids each caught a fish

The Best of Autumn

We purposely scheduled our week here in October to be sure and experience the best of autumn. I was here last year at the same time for a week with my Mom and had the best time. This year was also great. The fireplace is perfect. They had a new load of firewood delivered the day after we arrived and we took full advantage of the fireplace. The lake is beautiful and there are super comfortable chairs at the dock. The kitchen has everything we needed. Walmart is minutes away. We stocked the fridge and stayed in for the week. The screened in porch is amazing. I know we will be back. 🙂

WOW! This place was stunning, we’ll stocked and extremely clean. We actually had to put something in front of the glass wall so we wouldn't walk into it thinking it was the open door. Ha! All of us were so impressed with this beautiful Chalet. Will be back for sure.

Family Getaway

The chalet was decorated beautifully. It was clean and well stocked with everything needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and fishing off the dock. It was secluded and quiet...just what we were looking for! An added bonus was seeing deer and turkeys on our walk. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful, much needed spring break getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this chalet! It was exactly what we needed for a fun and relaxing vacation for our family of five (children ages 8, 7 & 6). We had fun fishing, riding in the paddle boat, making s’mores every night and the kids loves playing at the community playground during the day. We also loved spotting deer along our ride around the resort. The house was extremely clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The board game assortment and Roku streaming tv were both unexpected added bonuses that we appreciated for family fun at nighttime. This will definitely be a trip we will always remember and we hope to return again!

A Perfect Escape

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay. The chateau is well equipped and well organized as a home away from home. We enjoyed the variety of indoor games, the warmth of the fireplace, comfortable beds, dock with kayaks and canoe...we did not need anything else! Communication with the owners was excellent and I highly recommend this nicely decorated home. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderfully Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I went with our 3 kids. It was a perfect start to Fall! Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed the incredible view of the Fall foliage and the lake. My favorite part was the wood burning fireplace! It was a wonderfully peaceful experience. I highly recommend.

Perfect Mother Daughter Trip!!

My Mom (72) and I wanted a relaxing and convenient place to stay. The chalet was more than we could have asked for. I've rented cabins elsewhere and have never seen such wonderful amenities. Every little detail about the home, the deck and the outside space is absolutely perfect. The stone path down to the dock is beautiful and easy for Mom to walk. The dock has the most comfortable glider chairs. We brought food and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and I'm happy to say the living room furniture was super comfortable as well. Coffee on the screened in porch was great on rainy days. So happy we chose to spend our trip here. Innsbrook is truly beautiful. We'll be back!!

The house was perfect for a get-away. We enjoyed making s'mores at the fire pit, fishing off the dock, building sandcastles on the beach, going out on the lake in the paddle boat and just relaxing as a family in the house.

The perfect getaway to the lake!

This was the perfect, safe, social-distanced getaway! The house was wonderful, supplies everything you could need. Comfy beds, beautiful decor, and the perfect location! Caught some bluegill and bass off the dock that we cooked up for dinner one night. Enjoyed a campfire, sitting on the screened in porch, a hike on one of the innsbrook trails and SO much relaxation. Only thing I would change, is to have gotten to stay longer!

A quiet getaway

The 1718 Shoreline Escape was exactly as advertised. A sand beach and a dock overlooking a peaceful little lake, a fire pit, and a gorgeous chalet. Our entire experience was very simple, satisfying, and relaxing. We'll certainly be looking to rent this property again and eventually buy in the Innsbrook area!

Great short getaway full of nature

Overall we had a great stay. Innsbrook itself has a lot to do. We loved staying at the chalet to relax and enjoy our surroundings but we did take the girls to play tennis one day which they really enjoyed. We were going to check out the pool but since we arrived on Labor Day the pool just closed for the season. As for the chalet, there was plenty of room for a family of three, our daughter’s friend and our family dog. We are outdoors people so this was the perfect place. I loved the paver stone walkway down to the water. The girls had a great time with the paddle boat and canoe and we always enjoy a good fire pit. While it looked like there was wood at the chalet, we came prepared with our own as I don’t think it’s there for guest use. Beds were comfortable and the chalet in general was pretty clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Because we had some rain storms come through one day during our stay, we loved having the sun room. We played games in there while still being able to enjoy the outdoors and listen to/watch the storm without getting wet! The girls loved doing their virtual school work in there too so it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.
