Lovely antiques!!
I was made most welcome on my arrival.
The room was clean and a comfortable bed.
Hot water and tea and coffee facilities.
All that I required from my stay.
Happy to return next time I am in the area
An old-fashioned hotel in an old building but there's nothing wrong with that - it has character, unlike a lot of modern anodyne ones.
Service was exceptional: accommodating and friendly.
It is located dead in the centre of the old town and is ideally placed for exploring it (and for staggering back from the pubs!). It also has a well regarded Thai restaurant on the ground floor, so no need to go far if you don't want to.
There is free parking at the back.
I would certainly stay again if I was in the area.
Overnight stay, the accommodation was clean and comfortable.
Disappointed to find that the hotel had charged my credit card as well as hotels.com having already taken full payment, which I now need to get resolved. Unnecessary hassle.
We were at Snetterton race track for three days. The hotel is just 15 mins from the track, I have stayed here at the Townhouse hotel previously and will always come back.
OK - The hotel is a little tired but thereâs a comfy bed and a pub across the road. Thatâs what matters.
Parking is in a public car park adjacent to the hotel. Itâs a quiet village. There are four pubs in the village. One is opposite the hotel.
The rooms are fairly dated and the hot water comes through after a minute or three. But the rooms are comfy and thereâs a friendly welcome.
There is a Thai restaurant in the hotel that is independently run. I havenât tried it but it looks quite busy.
The race track is about 9 miles away, back along the A11.
Usual question - would I return? Itâs a big Yes.
