This was such a cute motel with a great gift shop and really friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Don't let the 2 star rating fool you. This is a motel not a hotel and I give it 5 stars.

Get the ocean view

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. Hotel is overlooking ocean with a beautiful trail with overlook seating. The office has a gift shop with wonderful gifts as well as necessities. Not walking distance to town but a couple minute drive. Beautiful area!!

Older property but spectacular views

This place has incredible Speck spectacular views and has a nice walking path to town. The only feedback is that the shower is not very hot and doesn't have hardly any water pressure. So when I drew a bath it had both. So I took baths instead of showers. The carpeting needs to be replaced with some kind of hardwood floor, they look and feel old and dirty and are stained.

Our room had a king size bed, extremely comfortable for a great sleep which I dont always get traveling. Real water glasses, real ceramic mugs, small mr.Coffe pot, outstanding view of the beach and breakers, open a window for sound of surf.

Plenty of space, Rooms were furnished with all the niceties necessary to provide you with the best and most comfortable stay. We drove 12 hours each way and needed exactly what was provided, furnishings, atmosphere, a warm cozy room for enjoying your stay and recovering from a long drive. The ocean was beautiful with a long walking trail along the rocky coast. Restaurant and shopping in the town of Yachats, Oregon was fun. The Hotel Staff all had great friendly attitudes. They made our special stay something that will be a forever memory. Found no negatives.
