I usually don't write reviews about the hotels we stay at, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this one. Our family of four paid over $400 for a one-night stay, and the room was so small it felt claustrophobic. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in the lodge building, nor even in the registration area—which was in a separate building about a five-minute walk from our lodge. There was no microwave in the room, nor anywhere in this hotel per what we were told by hotel front desk. Additionally, the front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming during both check-in and check-out; not a single smile from anyone. Do not waste your money and enthusiasm, stay away from the grand village.

Nice and convenient inside the park hotel. Room size is good, amenities is basic.We stay there 6 nights…house keeping is everyday but only basic cleaning and tend to forget something every day…didnt replace room with new towels or throw away the trash or replenish tissue box

The staff and the grounds are wonderful. The rooms are comfortable but small and in need of some renovation. The main restaurant is reservation only for dinner and should be made ahead of arrival. We were unaware of this and couldn’t get in. In the plus side, the other restaurant, Lakeside is first come first served and the food is Delicious. Only caveat is that it serves only tacos. (Very good tacos)

Check in room around 7pm, walked around area went to get shower around 8:30 shower didnt work, called front desk they said they would let maintenance know, call back 45 minutes later and they said maintenance said it was broke but they nevered showed up I asked for another room so we could shower after hiking all day they said we could go somewhere I cant remember where to get showers told them we werent going there to get showers and asked for another room after about another 40 minutes they said you have to come back up to pick up key when they should have brought the key to me. So we had to pack back up to move to another room which was now around 10pm and we were leaving early in the morning.

Loved that the area was walkable. The views were spectacular. The room was comfy, but the lack of a microwave made it difficult to enjoy any of the foods your General Store offered that uses a microwave. Might want to think about adding these to the room for convenience.

We reserved 2 rooms. When I checked in, they gave me one room. Since we reserved a few months ago, I forgot I reserved 2 rooms and did not tell them. On the second day, I looked up my reservation on hotels.com and realized have 2 rooms paid for 2 nights. So we got the second room. Normally hotels should give us 2 rooms when we check in even thought I did not say anything.

Grant Village is in a beautiful area. There are multiple lodges as well as two restaurants nearby. There’s also a general store with a good selection of souvenirs, a café, and a bit of groceries. There’s a gas station nearby. The rooms were nice, a little rustic, but we like that. They were very clean. The showers are tiny so it might be a tight squeeze for some folks. It was great staying in the park, we recommend heading up the east side of the loop first to avoid all the heavy traffic around Old Faithful in the morning. We had a fantastic time and we were lucky enough to see several bears, not near our lodge, but out in the park.

Even though the place was clean and quiet, I would never stay here again nor recommend it. What I liked: clean, plenty of towels, a table with two chairs, and a fridge. What I didn't like: 1) We were upstairs and there is no elevator!!! 2) No microwave!! 3) The shower is Super dinky! 4) The entire bathroom/ sink area is extremely small. 5) The floorboards outside the bathroom squeak loudly. 6) There is only one place to put a suitcase. We had 3 and no place to put the others except on the beds. 7) Where are the outlets?? There aren't any by the beds, only one by the table, one by the door, and one in the bathroom!! 8) We were given 2 full beds, but we wanted queens. 9) Only 3 small pillows per bed. 10) We got a close parking place, but the walk to the building was long, winding around to the backside. 11) NO wifi, no tv, no space to walk. 12) WAY over priced for getting to stay inside Yellowstone!

Cute lodge

Cute little buildings by the lake. Staff friendly. Two restaurants on site. One only serving tacos and nachos the main restaurant reservation only for dinner and excellent food. Bathrooms are very small and small shower. Still enjoyed the room. No elevator so you'll have to lug your luggage up the stairs. Quit and beautiful lake views
