My husband and I brought our dog out here for a little desert weekend retreat and had a lovely time.
The location is fantastic, right at the edge of the Sand to Snow Monument and down the road from Joshua Tree National Park. You can walk to the mesas from the front door, and the neighborhood is very quiet, with a lot of space and privacy between the homes.
We enjoyed letting our dog explore the beautifully landscaped fenced-in yard, sitting in the hot tub, reading in the backyard or the cool living room during the heat of the day, listening to records, and eating a delicious takeout meal from La Copine on the back patio while listening to coyotes howling.
The house is well-appointed, plenty of blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, and the kitchen is stocked with utensils and condiments, making it very easy to come in with some groceries and easily prepare a nice meal. Great little record collection, too, and a good, eclectic bookshelf! It's thoughtfully decorated with many artistic and hospitable touches.
Patricia is very friendly, communicative, and helpful, which was just a cherry on top.
A wonderful, peaceful experience all around.
