Overview

If you want to become a more confident diver, but are not sure what area interests you the most, try the advanced adventurer programme and choose five different diving specialities to try out. Some of the available specialities are; Boat, Deep (30m), Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN), Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, Perfect Buoyancy, Waves, Tides & Currents, Photo/Video, Fish ID or Wreck Diving.

Know before you book

  • Public transport options are available nearby
  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers
  • Not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
  • Swim test: must be able to swim 200m direct, any stroke. Must be able to float for 10 minutes.

Activity itinerary

Complete 5 dives over 2 days to earn your Advanced Adventurer certification! Dive deeper and learn additional skills to become a more competent diver. The advanced adventurer programme allows you to experience five different open water dives without having to complete the entire speciality. If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and to identify which speciality programmes interest you. You will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification after completing this programme, and you may find your underwater passion.
