The rooms were standard, but spotless and plenty big enough for what we needed. Bed linen changed daily. Staff were brilliant. Polite, accommodating, but unobtrusive! Breakfast and dinner were reasonably priced, with plenty choice for both. Great coffee! There was a nice little snug bar area as well, but we didn't manage to try it out this time! Newburgh seal beach was very close by, so this place was a winner for many reasons As with many smaller inns, could do with some updating, but it's very much off season, and was clean, tidy and perfect for our needs for our two night stay.
Spotless, basic yet comfortable twin room.

We were delighted with our stay at Newburgh Inn. The staff greeted us promptly and were very helpful with information about the area, and our fink g options within the Inn. Our room was spotless, and very comfortable. Bed linen and pillows were lovely, and clean and fresh. Bathroom was excellent with plenty of hot water. Shower was very good water supply. We had dinner at the Inn and it was delightful. The menu choices are very good, and our selections were truly delicious. Included breakfast was equally delightful. More than enough and variety was excellent. We were thoroughly satiated. Overall, it was a greatly impressive stay, and we would have loved a couple of more nights to relax in Newburgh. So much to see and beautifully relaxing stay.

Customer service was average. Did not feel welcomed. However meals for dinner and breakfast were good and large servings. States washing facilities but we were told they no longer exist. Close to see the seals which was great. Cute little town.

Superb!

All the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was a clean, breakfast was amazing. Bar had a good selection of drinks. Good location to walk to seal beach which is about 15 minutes away. We will be back.

Let down

Unfortunately there isn't too much positives regards this hotel. Great location for the seals but thats about it. The blonde waitress (colour for ref as didnt catch name) was attentive and helpful. The room was tired, mattress was bent like a banana some switches weren't working, pull out sofa bed was torn, no working tv channels etc. I know this hotel has had some issues from previous ownership but if your not prepared for guests dont take bookings it wasent worth the cost.

Our stay was lovely and restful. We were in room 11 which has a double aspect. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable. Shower hot. Decorated nicely. The only downside was no TV as sky was down. The lovely Scottish breakfast was plentiful and hot. Staff very welcoming and helpful. And best thing deal beach is only a 6 month nute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay

Very nice stay here. Nice part of the world & all staff were friendly!! Would definitely consider staying again if ever in the area. Breakfast was good but slightly slow service which wasn’t our servers fault as she was very busy & working alone. She was very friendly. Bar stayed open late which worked well with us catching up with friends. And the bar staff were great, didn’t feel like they were rushing us at the end of the night.
