The check in process was easy, and when I needed to get in touch with the host, she was quick to respond. We had plenty of room for 2 adults, a 16 year old, and our dog. We had what we needed to make a few simple meals. We were there for several 100 degree days, and the air conditioner had trouble keeping up. There are fans in the bedrooms that help move air which helped cool things down. The neighborhood is quiet but rundown. We were close to everything we needed.
The property was just what we needed for our short stay in Abilene. We always travel with our dogs and this location made that possible. The yard is a nice size for the dogs to be out in.
We enjoyed our stay. The owners were easy to communicate with we needed more towels and they brought some over right away few little things but nothing to make us upset with our stay great place to stay while we were waiting to close on our house.
Our stay was very comfortable and accommodating. Great communication from property manager. We were there to visit with Family that lives in Abilene, and they commented on the area not being safe; however, I truly did not ha e any concerns with the location and i would stay there again.
The house was great for our big family. Our 3 boys (toddlers) shared the one room and our 2 girls shared the room with the double beds. One bathroom was a little struggle but we were able to get by. Washer/dryer was definitely a plus! Kitchen was loaded with plenty of
Very nicely equipped kitchen, garage access was nice in the winter. The only note is the furnace is extremely loud if you stay in the primary bedroom. We turned the fan to the on position which helped to buffer the jet engine like charge up process and that was much better. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Neighborhood is pretty typical for Abilene. My husband went for a run one morning and several loose neighborhood dogs (friendly) followed him for about 1/4 mile before tiring of the idea and going back home.
The house itself is extremely nice. There are TVs in every bedroom and the living room. Many nice touches throughout -- board games, bottled water in the fridge, snacks on the counter.
We left several jackets behind and the host shipped them to us. Overall, an amazing experience!
The property was nice and the host goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is nice and you have everything you need. That was much appreciated and the VRBO worked perfectly for what my family and I needed for the week.
Clean, well kept place and property. Communication was great with owner. We had zero problems. Free snacks were left for us. Kids appreciated that, after a long trip! Had a few laundry pods available to use, we appreciated that! We were in town for a softball tournament, and I didnât even think to bring any detergent. Would recommend!
Everything was very easy, when we arrived the property was clean and nicely appointed. We were in communication with the property manager before and during our stay any questions I had were answered quickly. The yard was awesome they recently put up a privacy fence which gave us and our dogs some seclusion.
The owners have thought about family visits and deliver a nice property for that situation. Many thougthtful touches...a kettle (which we used many times), a stove/oven, a dishwasher, microwave, games/puzzles for family/children. Backyard and dishes for the pup. Snacks & water for the renters. These owners have been thoughtful in setting up this property. We didn't use the the nice table with umbrella in the yard...too hot, but it will be a nice space in more moderae weather. Lots of thought went into the set up of this rental.
This is a cute little house in an older neighborhood thatâs conveniently located within 10-15 mins of anywhere in Abilene. The owners have clearly put thought into making it a home away from home for their guests. The home was very clean, recently updated, and had what we needed for a weekend away.
The first day of our stay, the area was experiencing some of the hottest days of the summer and the AC failed. Within less than 2 hours, the owners had brought over and installed window units for each bedroom and then had someone over to address the problem. While it was definitely an inconvenience, we know life happens. What was important was the owner was super responsive and did what they could to address the problem and did it very quickly. It was obvious they care about providing a great experience for their guests.
Weâd stay here again if visiting Abilene in the future.
The house was as advertised, newly remodeled and clean. Usable garage was an added help to us. Kitchen was good. Checking out was easy and did not require a ton of work on our part. The only negative about this place was in the beginning. We found the listing, paid for the 3 days and after we were paid up we got late notices saying we still owed another $180.00 which was another 40+ %. After communications with the owner, we found out there was a $20.00 per person per night charged called a "buddies fee" which was not advertised. It was very clear we could either pay the extra money or move on, cancel our reservation and find something else. Can't say I would have handled it that way if I were the owner. I think I would have just chalked it up to "growing pains" being new to the VRBO world. We did get a new listing discount up front that made the price even better but then we had to pay another $180.00. At the end of the day, the place worked for us, it was clean and we got through 2 graduations in 3 days.
THIS PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED FOR OUR WEEKEND STAY FOR OUTLAWS & LEGENDS FESTIVAL. A PLUS WAS IT WAS LESS THAN 5 MINUTES AWAY. WE WILL BE DEFINITLEY STAYING AGAIN.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a week in this cute home in Abilene while visiting family, and it was perfect for our stay! The host was very kind and accommodating and answered requests quickly! This home was cozy and inviting, had a full kitchen to cook in, a washer/dryer, and plenty of space to make ourselves at home. There was even a basket of snacks awaiting us in the kitchen, which was great after a long journey! The fenced in backyard felt very private and was decorated nicely. Although it was a bit chilly/windy for us to spend too much time outdoors, it was a great spot to sit with coffee in the morning when the weather allowed and I'm sure will be a nice spot to hang out in the summertime. The hosts truly thought of all the comforts and conveniences for their guests and we'll happy to book again when we come back to Abilene đ
