Rockybrook Miller's Cabin

Diese Müllerhütte aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert wurde liebevoll restauriert und ist bereit für Ihren erholsamen Urlaub. Nur 11 km von der Main Street Abingdon entfernt erwartet Sie dieses gemütliche Refugium für einen Familienspaß. Nur wenige Meter von der North Fork des Holston River entfernt haben Sie einfachen Zugang zum Angeln und Adventure Mendota, einem lokalen Schlauchausrüster. Wir sind nur wenige Minuten von Bristol TN / VA und Bristol Motor Speedway entfernt. Wandern, Radfahren, Angeln und Jagen werden von den Anwohnern der Region genossen. Zu den lokalen Favoriten zählen das Barter Theatre, das Martha Washington Inn, Heartwood, der Creeper Trail (einschließlich des Appalachian Trail) und eine wunderbare Auswahl an regionalen Gerichten. Das Highlands Festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots und viele andere kulturelle Veranstaltungen machen unsere Gegend zu einem ausgezeichneten Urlaubsziel.

Das Innere unseres Eigentums ist die ursprüngliche Müllerhütte, die in den 1820er Jahren gebaut wurde. In den frühen 1900er Jahren wurde die Kabine erweitert und eine Außenschindel hinzugefügt. Hauptschlafzimmer und Badezimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss. *** Bitte beachten Sie, dass die beiden Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss extrem steile Stufen haben. Dies trägt zur Einzigartigkeit unserer Kabine bei, könnte jedoch ein Problem für Besucher mit Mobilitätsproblemen darstellen.

Eine voll ausgestattete Küche eignet sich für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten und Unterhaltung. Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und alle Kochutensilien sind vorhanden.
Diese Ferienhütte ermöglicht es dir, Jefferson National Forest innerhalb weniger Gehminuten zu erreichen. Diese Ferienhütte bietet WLAN-Internetzugang (kostenlos) und eine Küche.

Ms. Regina touched base a day ahead about check in which made the day of our arrival super easy. Everything about the house suited our needs from sleeping accommodations to kitchen supplies to hang out space for chit chats and board games. If your vacationing with someone whose experience is enhanced by the curb appeal (inside and out) this house is perfect- my sister is an artist and we were there to celebrate her 40th birthday and the house and all the interest of it meant a lot to her. This is a charming cabin by a creek. Regina is welcoming and has thought of all the extras to make this a comfortable stay. Such a Neat Place!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in the area for an annual family reunion and this place was perfect for us! The kids enjoyed the outdoors, all the inside games and just having "adventures." Everything we needed was right there. We didn't even leave 1 of the days we were there. The uniqueness of the cabin was just perfect for our curious kiddos. It felt almost like Little House on the Prairie with some modern touches of course! We could tell there was much thought and love put into this place. Regina is an exceptional host! We just appreciated every little detail. We'll definitely be back next year!!!

Gal’s Get Away From It All Weekend

We are 3 friends who love crafting, sewing, quilting, and relaxing. This weekend was about taking time to unwind and heal from life’s demands. Abingdon was about half way between our respective hometowns. Regina is the best host! She has renovated and decorated this cabin to perfection! Plenty of space and comforts abound along with visual reminders to keep it simple. We will be back!

Charming!

We could not have asked for a more comfortable or accommodating stay. It was the perfect place to ring in the new year. The personal touches of the cabin, the thoughtful items all over that made our stay stress free, were much appreciated. We didn’t have to go far to find food, shopping, or hiking. Great location. Had it been warmer I am certain my kiddos would have played in the creek. We’ll have to come back in the warmer months. We’ve already told several of our friends about this charming cabin!

Property owner is amazing!

She did everything she could to make sure we had an excellent stay starting off with her signature welcome gift—delicious! We unfortunately had car trouble while there and she had us connected us to all the people in town to get it worked out before we left. Thanks to her, we made the best of time we had. Girl’s Trip

In my search for rustic cabins, I happened upon this little piece of history. We absolutely loved the history of it having been built in 1810 as the miller’s cabin and grist mill. The owner is one of the sweetest souls we’ve ever encountered. The care that is taken for guests is above and beyond! We’ll be back!!!

Amazing Cabin!

We stayed at this cabin with some friends for the weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. We fell in love with the cabin immediately. It was so well thought-out and homey. Grandkid visit

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful cabin and met our new grandchild and got to see our older grandsons as well as my husband’s adult kids. The cabin was perfect. Totally quaint and charming, well equipped, plenty of comfy spaces, good Internet for TV watching. We had meals on the deck and lots of visiting. The boys loved playing in the creek. We had a great bonfire. We can’t wait to come back.

Darling Cabin

We had the most amazing time at this cabin! Regina is a fantastic hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable.
