Our experience at this holiday rental was extremely disappointing and concerning due to the poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and the potential health and safety risks it posed to our participants.Upon arrival, we found cobwebs throughout the property, thick dust covering many surfaces, and mould growing around windows and window frames. For a group supporting participants, including people with additional health and support needs, these conditions were completely unacceptable and posed serious concerns for respiratory health, allergies, and overall wellbeing.The bathrooms were in very poor condition, with showers covered in a large build-up of soap scum, rusted mirrors, and broken towel rails. The linen provided was also below standard, with visible burn holes, which was both unhygienic and inappropriate for guest accommodation.To make matters worse, we discovered clothing left behind from previous guests, making it obvious the property had not been properly cleaned or inspected between stays. This raised significant concerns regarding hygiene standards and infection control. The pool was another major issue. It was dirty and filled with silt, algae, and leaves, making it unsafe and unusable for our group. We also experienced ongoing electrical issues throughout our stay. The power would repeatedly trip if multiple appliances were used at the same time. We have more feedback but ran out characters to write.
