Friend and Family Meet Up

What a quaint spot! Beautiful, quiet and serene it was just what our crew needed. Our only difficulty was how dark it was upon arrival late Friday evening as we weren’t certain we were in the right location. The home is beautiful and fully stocked with anything you may need. Our contact was easy to reach and responsive. Our crew enjoyed all the games, the fuse ball table and dart board. We definitely recommend the location!

nice place /clean/ quiet/ we could use a better description of the limited space of the driveway for larger trailers. the kitchen chairs all need fixed the previous guest also left a not about this. Very roomy we loved our stay.

Memorial Day Weekend

The property was beautiful and very spacious! We had four families that comfortably fit and still had room left over! The host was very quick at responding and addressing all questions we had! Will definitely be staying at this location again.

Beautiful house with gorgeous views

This spacious house really made for a great family trip. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots of games to keep us busy. The outdoor views blew me away! Perfect for sitting outside with a morning coffee. The house was clean and communication was excellent during check in. I already can’t wait to come back for our next family trip!

Perfect Family Getaway!

The Meres Retreat was the perfect location to spend time with our children and grandchildren! There were 13 of us, ages 10 months to 56!! The home and property were great. We were able to all gather comfortably in the common areas. And, so many lovely bedrooms and bathrooms gave space when needed. Meredith was wonderful to work with and she has thought of everything in the house, you really just need to show up and enjoy! We rented a boat for three of the days we were there and having a boat slip at the edge of the property was very nice. (You do need to go up and down several sets of steps and/or up and down the hill to get to the dock; but, you get your steps in for the day!) The deck is AMAZING! We would rent this wonderful home again!

Fourth of July Trip

Meres Retreat was a wonderfully hospitable place to celebrate with friends and family! The greeting basket was unexpected and such a nice touch!! Plenty of towels, pillows blankets, beds, flatware, kitchen condiments and deck, yard, play space! The climate control was a bit tricky- parts of house very cool and comfortable but upstairs a bit too warm. Might recommend shades for some of the bedroom windows. Overall we loved it and would definitely return!! Thank you for your easy communication and sharing your lake home!

Women’s church group

Perfect venue to “get away from it all!” No noise, just peace and quiet. Our group of 7 spent most of time on the lovely deck. Home and amenities were exactly as described on vrbo. Had a wonderful time and will certainly be back. 😊

Exceptional!

This home was perfect for 11 women on their annual get together. A floor plan that functions beautifully, room for 6 or 7 women in the kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and gathering spaces were comfortable. Good beds, great sheets and towels. We loved it.

Last Fling Before The Ring

I booked this weekend for my daughter’s Bachelorette Party. We had a wide variety of friends and family and EVERYONE had an amazing weekend. Love the space to spread out inside and outside. We rented a boat and was able to load and unload at end of dock which was simpler than driving to marina. Last but certainly not least Meredith was amazing to work with and always responded timely to local questions and needs. Highly suggest any large gathering at this home.

Impressive in every way!

The Meres Retreat is the definition of ‘retreat’. Our group of ten (ranging from 11 to 65 years old) had an amazing 5-night stay. Some of the highlights included: *30’ boat slip just feet from the back deck *giant wrap around deck that offered a peaceful view of the lake (we spent SO MUCH time on the deck) *the house itself - it is such a unique home that is beautifully decorated and offers plenty of room to spread out *The Host Meredith’s attention to detail - including fresh flowers in the foyer, a dish of water for our dog, a welcome basket of goodies, a very informative house guide, the list goes on and on! *the kitchen - it was spacious and generously stocked (quality small appliances, quality cookware, indoor and outdoor dinnerware, spices, everything you need and then some) *legendary hide-and-seek - we played nightly games of hide-and-seek in the dark. The house was made for this! The home audio system only added to the thrill when we played spooky music over it. I would recommend The Meres Retreat again and again! Communication with Meredith was top notch and so was our stay!

Great getaway to Grand Lake!

Great Family Retreat

We needed a family sized home to host our immediate family and grandchildren - this was perfect! Plenty of space for all and plenty of space to spread out inside and out! While the home may have been built in 1982, the updates have been done with great pride and care. We had everything we needed and plenty of it. The communication with the property owner was truly remarkable. Meredith answered every single question we had in the quickest response time which is greatly appreciated. Loved our stay and would love to stay there again.
