For your trips you can use a taxi or rent a car. However, there is a daily bus service from Plakias to Rethymno town. In the area there are several sights such as Preveli Monastery, Preveli Beach, Plakias Beach, Skinaria Beach, Kotsifos Gorge, Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Frangokastello fortress. Although there is a bus and taxi transfer from Plakias, we recommend our guests renting a car so they can explore the area better.
