Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill.

I don’t think you can find a better location. To the front is the main street, to the rear is the lagoon. As far as the staff, Helen and Steve were more than accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. They recommended a place to go eat, and it was fabulous. The room itself is a typical beach room. The interior was clean, with a microwave, coffee and refrigerator. Again, location, location, location!

The room in this old style motel was comfortable. Right in the centre of town next to the Lagoon. Easy access to everything. On site parking, Not peaceful at night however. Being so close to pubs and nightlife the noise from the street with people shouting etc wasn’t good. For two nights out of three it went on well after midnight. Very disturbed night.

Great central location close to shops and restaurants, owner is friendly and very helpful. Very noisy due to pub music and nightclub across the road and the public lagoon to the other side with annoying mine worker blasting music on a speaker all day which is not the fault of the owner but does impact your sleep and experience. Room was a bit run down but clean and beds are comfortable. Overall if i were to visit Airlie beach again i would stay here, there are locked gates that made us feel a lot safer with all the drunk riff raff at night
