Hotel was very nice and breakfast was definitely above average for these kinds of hotel buffets. Actual bacon and fresh berries. Carpet in my room was badly worn and highly visibly stained. The one real ick part of the York experience.

Staff were friendly during first night and breakfast was good. I didn’t like being asked to leave the lobby area at 10pm. We were being quiet, just didn’t want to sit in our room since we were staying 3 nights. Never been asked to leave the common area at any hotel we have stayed and we travel a lot for our son’s golf tournaments. Overall happy with the rest of our stay.
