The room definitely needed work/updating/repairs. The baseboard was missing & whatever it was where the baseboard was supposed to be was just hanging there, not even attached. It looks like the bathroom (shower) may have been remodeled, but even the wall/baseboard around that wasn't repaired after the updates. Small bathroom. The hotel wasn't booked, it didn't look like, I'm not sure why you would give a room like that to someone? I am actually a member of IHG Hotels, but booked under Expedia because it was cheaper. I have to book a stay on the way home, I will be finding another hotel to stay at. What's funny, or sad, is we paid over $80 less at a hotel in Louisville that had a huge, high class, beautiful guest room. So our expectations were definitely high for something $80 higher! The point is, if you expect someone to pay that kind of money, you should furnish presentable rooms. Also was charged an additional 'hold' charge, which wouldn't have been a big deal, but why wouldn't you tell someone when they are checking in instead of me having to ask about it the next morning when I see a higher charge in my bank account??!! Very disappointed in the IHG Hotels!

We will come again!

Very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable . My only complaint would be the lighting which can be a common problem in hotels . The bathroom had a mirror that was suppose to light around the border but did not so the bathroom was poorly lit . Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and we will return .

Breakfast wasn’t bad but the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night so not sure if it was faulty or what but it was quite the disruption. It is very close to shopping and restaurants.
