The room wasn't very clean. There was hair on the shower wall and toenail clippings on the carpet. Besides the bedding, I feel like the room wasn't cleaned after the last guests. It was convenient and the cooked to order breakfast was nice.

Actually cleaned my room without me asking. A rarity these days. Tired of lousy hotel breakfasts? This place gives a ticket to an adjacent restaurant where you get a wide choice of cooked breakfasts! Excellent.

GOOD VALUE LODGING

Excellent complimentary breakfast in the All Valley Cafe next door. This is definitely a place that offers value. Within walking distance of downtown was also a plus. I highly recommend this place,

I wanted to like this hotel more than I did. The service at the desk was first rate. The room was far better apportioned than your average vintage hotel. The owners really take care with design. The property was super clean. Now what I didn’t like. The bed, the bed, the bed. I have spinal issues and I was ready to write off my difficulties on myself but my wife, who has no back issues, was sore when we woke up. So, it wasn’t me. The other thing was the breakfast. I know everyone raves about it, but I’m a vegetarian and requested the eggs and potatoes and requested the bacon be put on a separate plate for my non-vegetarian wife. Meals came with the bacon right on top of my eggs and potatoes - not acceptable. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she brought me another plate to put the bacon on. Most restaurants would understand about dripping grease and remake the breakfast. Instead, I had to cut out the food the bacon sat and dripped grease on and put it on the plate the waitress brought. So, I got half a breakfast.

I chose this hotel because the reviews raved about the breakfast. However, the breakfast is strictly limited—you have to choose between coffee or juice, sausage or bacon, and so on. I asked for bacon, and they brought me sausage. I asked for a change because I don't like sausage, and the waitress started yelling at me, even though it was her mistake. I didn't like this breakfast!
