Residencia Baranda is a beautiful four bedroomed villa set in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains near the villages of Alaro and Santa Maria. Built in the traditional ‘Finca’ style the villa has an outdoor swimming pool, large terraces and over three acres of cultivated gardens with secluded shady terraces and a mirador at the highest part of the property The elevated position of the villa provides a panoramic vista of the surrounding countryside, with an uninterrupted view looking out onto over 400 square kilometres of the central Mallorcan plain.

The House
Residencia Baranda is a very special place; exclusive, secluded and peaceful with that magical ingredient that prompts past guests to leave such nice comments in the visitor’s book; ‘It is such a relaxing house’, ‘It has a lovely ambience that we have not found before’

As you can see from the photo gallery all the rooms are furnished with antique pieces and furnishings creating a simple elegant style. Bright & airy reception rooms with spacious external terraces. One terrace has a feature table made from local stone seating up to eight people that is ideal for alfresco lunches & suppers, the other one furnished with comfy wicker furniture that is just the place for pre-lunch or sundowner drinks. For those of you who need to keep in touch with your business or contacts at home, there is a well-appointed office with a desk, computer, printer and satellite Wi-Fi.

Bedrooms
The villa contains four delightful bedrooms, all with en-suite showers or baths. Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor having access straight onto the terraces at the front of the house with very nice views over the surrounding countryside. It has fully fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, and a double feature bed. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and bath.

Bedroom two is on the first floor at the front of the house. It has truly outstanding views of the central Mallorcan plain. It features a ‘sleigh bed’, fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath.

Bedroom 3 is the Master bedroom. It has a large balcony/loggia with a seating area for relaxing or taking in the magnificent views, air conditioning, a feature gas fireplace, walk-in closet/dressing room and a large bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.

Bedroom 4 is at the rear of the house, it is not air-conditioned. It contains a feature bed, bathroom/shower and fitted wardrobes. It has very nice views over the extensive gardens.

Living Rooms
The elegant open plan living area is steeped in light due to its floor to ceiling doors and windows giving a very airy and spacious feel. The clever design of this “Finca” style property, allows for a wonderful breeze to travel through the living and ground floor area when the doors are opened up – perfect for those hot summer days. This gives the feeling of real open-air luxury living. Antique furnishings, luxurious sofas, rugs and candlelit chandeliers all create a relaxed and calm ambience.




Kitchen & Dining
Residencia Baranda has a large well equipped open plan kitchen that is equipped with modern appliances including an electric hob and cooker, microwave oven, Nespresso Coffee machine, larder fridge/freezer and dishwasher together with everything else required to cater for you and your fellow guests. The tableware is a very elegant Villeroy and Boch together with matching cutlery, glassware and napery.

The adjacent Utility Room contains a washing machine and dryer with ample space for drying items and carrying out other household requirements.

The Gardens
The gardens and terraces of Residencia Baranda offer a feast of choices for guests. Three acres of cultivated gardens surround the house containing secluded and shady terraces, seating areas and a ‘mirador’ terrace at the highest point from which to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Four water features, two streams and ponds bring the garden to life and add to the tranquillity and calmness of this very special location.

Arrival between 21:00 and 00:00 is subject to 30 late arrival fee.

Departure between 00:00 and 06:00 is subject to 50 early departure fee.
