joli hôtel, mais excentré

Bonnes prestations en général mais piscines petites pour un 5 étoiles, chambre bruyante et il n'est possible de se rendre à la plage ou en ville qu'avec un taxi, les shuttle de l'hôtel ne sont pas pratiques au niveau de l'horaire et pas assez fréquents

hotel familial

Pros: les repas le spa l plage a 10mn a pied le centre ville
Cons: pas de salle de sport et pas de jacuzzi
Location: ville assez touristique
hotel pour se reposer prend en charge les enfants toute la journee

Not a 5* Hotel

Pros: Family accommodation. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Quality of food and drinks - especially pool side No pool side service More variety and better quality in restaurant food.
Great accommodation and friendly staff but generally not the 5* its advertised as. Food at the restaurant, drinks and entertainment more matching a 4* resort. Great kids club but didn't seem to be widely used during the height of the season. Great for a couple of nights but I wouldn't be keen to stay there for any longer.

We are pleased to see that you found our rooms family friendly. Also, we appreciate your kind words about our attentive and helpful Team. Our Guests feedback is of utmost importance to us and we regret to read that you felt disappointed with some aspects of your recent experience, that doesn't reflect our standard. We regret not meeting your taste with the range of food options provided in our Restaurants. We would like to point out that it is possible upon request to our head waiter to arrange you alternative food choices in our restaurants if the provided ones don't meet your taste. Also, in addition to our Buffet Restaurant, we have an Italian restaurant and a Gastrobar. Regarding the entertainment, we are sorry for not being able to achieve your expectations and we will, certainly, take your comments and suggestions into consideration. We stayed for a 4 night break for my husbands birthday. A lovely welcome, staff cannot do enough for you, they were all fantastic throughout our stay. The food was usual buffet standard, plenty of choice but as said in previous reviews the food was warm and not hot. The A La Carte restaurant was lovely! And they made a real effort with cake and bubbles for a birthday surprise.. The bar area was small but was fine for us as we only used it once and it was quite empty for our our stay so not a problem however the drinks were! If you like beer then you’ll be happy but there was only a small list of drinks that were free and all branded and any sparkling wines were charged for. Cocktails were pre made out of a machine and not the best. The rooms were perfectly adequate and clean and were serviced each day but are looking tired. The big thing for us is entertainment and that was really lacking here, maybe it was because it was the beginning of the season but there really wasn’t any. We went out in the evenings into the old and new towns.. great atmosphere, live music etc. A great hotel for golfers but would not recommend for families. I would also agree with many reviews that this is most definitely not a 5 star hotel but a 3/4 star but I also did not pay 5 star prices so am happy with our stay.

Lovely Hotel, Lovely Staff, Horrible Clientele!

Pros: The facilities, the staff, the location, the value for money.
Cons: Either reduce the amount of golf groups allowed at one time, or make it clearer to people when booking that it is a predominantly golfers hotel.
Location: Good location 20 minutes walk from Albufeira marina, private beach just down the hill from the hotel, and of course GOLF!
Are you a large group of obnoxious, rowdy golf w4nkers that love dominating a place and disturbing the peace and comfort of families and couples on holiday?? Then this is the place for you! As the title says, I thought the hotel itself was very nice, clean, and the facilities were good. The rooms were modern, a good size, and the balconies quite private. I also thought the food was pretty decent for an all inclusive resort and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good and in a quiet area just outside Albufeira (20 min walk) with a lovely little beach just down the hill if you don't fancy the big resort hustle and bustle. However, The hotel is a magnet for big groups of rowdy golfers who can't afford to stay in the actual golf hotels and resorts. They dominate all public areas, bars, and restaurants with their loud profanity strewn 'banter', and make it very uncomfortable for other guests just trying to enjoy a relaxing drink or intimate dinner etc. The only respite that you get from them is in the middle of the day when they are all out playing golf, but come 5pm the bar fills up and you can't get a seat anywhere as they have pushed all the tables together and taken all the seats. The hotel is in a well know golf area and the total cost wasn't that much, so perhaps I should have guessed, but the hotel website certainly doesn't promote itself a golfers only hotel.
