We left the hotel shortly after arriving. We did not stay. Ebookers description of the hotel said there would be a hairdryer in the room and an ensuite bathroom. In reality there was no hairdryer and no ensuite. It was shared bathroom facilities. As the hotel description provided by ebookers was massively misleading, we were unable to stay in this hotel and so I am expecting a full reimbursement of what was taken out of my account

Friendly and small and warm.
Pros:As above - and food was excellent - as was prompt response to any queries raised. Splendid value too.
Cons:Nothing to add here.
Location:Little to say as I had stayed here in order to meet with Friends nearby.
I felt at ease and should be most happy to stay there again.

Everything was lovely, had a great time, although we could not recommend to friends and family due to noise, we knew about the loud music and as came back late only had one hour of discomfort till 3.00 pm . Unfortunately our room was directly above the dance floor. The bedroom was literally bouncing, you could see the floor moving and the bed. However we were warned of the noise but had no idea how bad it would be. We would stay again but would request a room further away. We are in Balloch every month and have stayed elsewhere, but this was our first stay here. I think this particular room should be reduced to £40 a night due to position and a cooked breakfast should be offered as a complimentary for noise. Although it was immaculate and up to date and clear notice of noise, I think there needed to be a wee discount for this particular room. . I think this would stop the bad reviews from other disgruntled guests if this room had been reduced in price. Thank you.

Super Gelegen
Das Hotel liegt gerade am südlichen Ende von Loch Lomond. Man erreicht es entsprechend schnell und sehr gut. Man ist von hier schnell an diversen Orten zum Wandern oder einfach so, am See zum Entspannen. Hotel hat ein vernünftiges Restaurant und eine Bar, um paar Biere zu verweilen.
Zimmer ist minimalistisch, aber für die Durchreise reicht dies völlig aus.
