This place is perfect. So quiet, secluded and beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice! It was also much larger than we were expecting, and accommodated us and our toddler very well. The owners have clearly put effort into maintaining the original charm and integrity of the cabin, while still providing modern comforts. We hope to return soon!
This was our second time staying in this cabin and we really enjoyed the week. Loved the seclusion, the tremendous views of Twin Sisters and authentic character of the cabin. Scott and Dana were super responsive and helpful, and the cabin was spotless.
We loved this house. It was at the end of the road and we were able to explore in the woods around us. The kids loved the porch and swings. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 6 kids. Short drive to town and RMNP but we still felt out in the woods. We would stay again
We had a wonderful few days at the cabin. Not long enough! Owners were very responsive to any questions and the house is exactly as described. If we are lucky enough to travel back to Colorado, we will stay here again.
This was a great place for our extended family to enjoy. The seclusion or the location was perfect and the homies has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The elk bugling in the morning was a big bonus.
We had a great stay at the house. It is off the beaten path, and gravel road to house took us 15 minutes after leaving highway the first time. By end of the week, we could get up and down from highway in 5-10 minutes. The house borders RMNP, and we enjoyed short walks directly from the property. Everything you would need is there, and internet was recently updated and quick enough for us with only 2 users. We listened to elk bugling all night through open windows, and you do not see another cabin from the house. My husband loved it, though I did wish it was a little quicker to Estes Park for main park access and food options.
This is a really wonderful property. A little bumpy getting there from Hwy 7 on about a mile of gravel road, but it's well worth the bumps and turns because the property is perfectly situated on top of a mountain and no other properties below it are visible. The views are spectacular, and the home is in excellent condition. The property owner, Dana, is very accommodating and easy to work with. We highly recommend this property if you're looking for seclusion and pristine natural beauty.
We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids, and we fully enjoyed staying at the house, relaxing with the views and playing in the yard. We also really enjoyed the easy drive to RMNP and Estes Park. The owners were very accommodating and the house is in terrific shape. Very comfortable for a large group.
The cabin was just what we needed after three days in the backcountry at Lawn Lake. We were weary and tired and the cabin had all the essentials to relax and recover. I especially appreciated the TV being tuned into the kids channel for my toddlers. It made the next morning so awesome. The kids watched a show and we got to kick our legs up, drink some hot coffee, and soak in the Mountain Viewâs. We loved the quietness of the cabin, the comfortable beds, and the well stocked kitchen.
Thank you so much!!!
This cabin is a DREAM location in Estes Park. It feels like your own private retreat. The cabin is nestled in the woods, and the 15 acres provides ample opportunity for exploration. The kitchen is fully stocked. The house has a beautiful back porch with an unreal view of the mountains.
Book this house! You will not be sorry!
