The room was very small and inconvenient. There was no front desk or customer service; everything was completely self-service. When we first arrived, we couldn't turn on the lights in our room. The only way to communicate was by sending messages. We received a reply telling us to hold down the power button on the remote for a while. However, despite multiple attempts, the lights still wouldn't turn on. When we sent another message, we received no response. Later, we discovered that all three light bulbs were not properly screwed in, which caused the poor connection and the inability to turn on the lights.
Do to a need to make an adjustment and report to a military installation a day early, we attempted to contact the hotel by both email and phone to let them know we could not make it and to ask if we could change our reservation by a day. We did not receive the requested phone call, the response from management was delayed nearly 24 hours and the cancellation process on Hotels.com did not work. Three times I tried to send a cancellation as a courtesy so that the manager could use the room if there was a late arrival, but the app did not work. Hotels.com is still sending survey questions about check in, etc . . . I have had good luck with hotels.com in the past. This trip did not live up to it, especially with communication. This is concerning as this is the second trip in a row that we have had communications issues.
Room was too small. No music in cantina. No towel racks/hooks in bath area.
Parking was a hassle
Easy acess. Restaurant and cantina on site. Food was great and beer cold
The conditions were bad. The sheets had NOT been changed. No one to call. I had to use a washcloth to clean some of it up. No closet or place to hang things. The bed was awful with a big whole in the middle.
It had a very noisy environment, noisy air conditioner, no refrigerator in room. The door had a huge gap at the bottom of it, and didn't feel secure. I wasn't aware I would need ear plugs, until after I paid in full. The shower didn't stay hot, and the shower head was painful.;
The bed was comfortable and it was clean. The remotes needed new batteries. There was no place for a couch to sit, it was a very small room. No breakfast provided.
Unfortunately the hotel does not disclose that the rooms are in the same building and directly above a busy bar. The walls and ceilings were so thin we got less than 5 hours of sleep both nights because of the noise, which seemed like it was coming from neighbors but we discovered it was mostly coming from below us and was so loud and clear, we could make out whole conversations. There were earplugs provided for guests upon walk in so I'm sure they're aware of the noise levels that didn't quiet until after midnight. The earplugs barely made a dent. We wouldn't have booked a stay here if the hotel description would've been transparent about how intolerable the noise would be. We also had to alert the management to come by to lock the main entry door because someone flipped the latch and it wouldn't lock behind us at night. Parking outside a bar overnight is not our idea of safe parking either. This stay had a really negative impact on our little relaxation trip and its important that others know what they're getting themselves into, especially if you have kids or are looking for a peaceful getaway. The management was kind but the location just didn't work. Unfortunate.
Room was very small and lacked a chair or a place to sit down besides the bed. Handicap person's world not be able to stay here because of the stairs. Room was upstairs without access to an elevator. There is a bar underneath the rooms, but they offer hearing plugs. Very unique place to stay. Not sure we would stay there again.
Everything was great for my 1 night stay. In the middle of town and convenient. Only thing i would recommend is some signage for entrance on the street. Would recommend to others
