The flat was as advertised. The photos realistically depict the space. Having a cooktop and refrigerator was nice. A washer and dryer would have been even better. The French press for coffee was okay. We would have much preferred a Keurig. But all in all the flat was perfectly fine for the first three of four nights. The Amity location worked for our wine tasting stops from near Salem up to Newberg. The fourth and last night of our stay was not as nice. We returned to the flat around 5:30 pm on a Friday. I pretty quickly realized we had no internet. That’s particularly a problem with this flat, because the television also streams via the internet. And that’s your sole entertainment option in Amity. There is little no nothing happening in town. The flat representatives had been responsive in greeting us and checking on us prior to this. I thought a quick message and we would promptly get back online. Not so.It seems if you have an issue with the flat after normal business hours, you are out of luck. We were told that short ofan emergency, next day help was the quickest thing they could do. So, no internet, no television, no nothing.Well, there was something. It seems that when no television noise is there, and silence prevails, noise really carries from room to room in the building. In our case, the moaning of amorous sex coming from two rooms down the hall. I swear it sounded next door, but the flat contact said that room was empty. So, bring a sound generator.
