Could hear all the voices and sounds to the next room. Walls were not anyway soundproofed. Of course, this was stated on a poster. Once you have already entered the room to stay. People in the next room were carrying on laughing and talking until 2:30 a m. Would not recommend.

The decor in the Main Hall is lots of fun. Interesting building and history. We enjoyed our walk over the river bridge.

We kind of stumbled onto this place, I read my husband some of the things about it and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised, it’s a castle. (Actually several different things in the past but it looks like a castle now. It’s quirky and fun to roam around. There is a great Italian restaurant close enough to walk to that was great!

Unique property. Friendly staff who upgraded us to a larger room. Good water pressure and towels. It’s an old building and walls are thin so we could hear our neighbors at all hours.

A very clean room that was spacious in an armory setting. Lots of memorabilia to look at, a very novel experience. Very close to the Mohawk Valley Overlook which connects to the Riverlink Park, great for a strolll. It was off season in October so nobody was around and restaurants were closed.

Parking was easy, room was huge and comfortable, hotel was clean and safe, with helpful staff. Dining not available on site, but good restaurants within walking distance and many others within a 5-15 minute drive. Also, in room mini fridge and microwave for easy breakfast and reheating leftovers. Did not have children with us, but hotel did not appear to have activities for children. However, parks and bike trail within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!!!
