The hotel is in such a great location and a grand old hotel, making this a great spot for a stay. Staff are amazing, rooms are clean and well-furnished. Facilities are also what I look for, with a bar, restaurant and a well-known brunch spot. I would definitely stay again.

Overall a comfortable 2 night visit at the Clayton. This is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel in a great location.Rooms were spacious and clean. Booked room only, however we decided to pay for breakfast at the last minute on our first morning. The cost was 29 euros each, but if we had paid upon check in, it would have been 20 euros. We were not made aware of this during check in, which was disappointing. Also, when we checked out of the Clayton, we decided to go into the restaurant for a coffee and snack whilst we waited for the Airport transfer, but we were refused entry, as we hadn’t made a reservation. Again disappointing.

WOW- where do you start,the hotel is outstanding in every way,we had a deluxe balcony room( free upgrade) room was massive,great shower and AC/Heat worked a treat,the staff at the hotel can’t do enough for you,buffet breakfast was brilliant- great choice of hot and cold food .We are so glad we picked this hotel and when we return to Amsterdam in the future then this will be the hotel that we booked,if you are coming to Amsterdam you can’t go wrong with this hotel,also the area is full of bars and restaurants and the trams are a must . One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in .
