Super friendly staff .. it’s an older hotel and its decor reflects that but everything was clean and we had no issues. It can be loud as you are above the bar but I personally wasn’t bothered by it. No elevator but a staff member helped my elderly friend up and down the stairs with her suitcase. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to any public transportation but there’s a LOT to see on that walk!

Great stay

Had a one night stay as a female solo traveller. The room was great , it's right in the middle of the red light district. The staff were great , allowed me to leave my bag there all day the next day while I was out visiting museums.

Location is the A plus for this place. Near to the central station, stores and restaurants. The rooms are very old. It is ideal for young people that only need where to sleep and take a shower. Definitely is not recommended for people with movil disabilities, there is not elevator and the stairs are extremely stiff. There is not heater nor air conditioner.

This was a great simple room. I was expecting the hotel to be noisy being in the heart of the Red Light district and yet I had a calm peaceful night's sleep after a fun night out. The shower and bed were great. The staff were courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Amsterdam.
