Location could not be better. Very clean and quiet. Our room had a view to an alley and concrete wall, even it was a premium room. Breakfast was okeyish, some problems to get clean coffee mugs and there was no bread even we were early birds. Bread came later then, but it was too late for us. Toilets downstairs were dirty and missing hand paper. Overall I still would say this is a very good hotel with an excellent location.

Sweet suite

The room was perfect, the staff was quite helpful and the location is excellent. Everything is accessible. Easily one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in.
Right next to tour guide shop, money changer, a few steps from grocery, right across high end department store, and train stop is right outside.
Staff was very warm, helpful and welcoming.
Spacious! Relaxing and worth the extra splurge on the suite.

Perfect location

The location of the hotel is perfect,almost on the Dam square. It is also close to the Amsterdam central so from and to airport or other cities are very easy. My room was quite big and clean . Bed was comfortable. I am happy that I choose Swiss hotel and recommend to Amsterdam visitors.

The hotel is in a the center of the city, very noisy and dirty area. The hotel has a very friendly front desk. I have to mention Tatiana from Ukraine, Svetlana from Russia and the gentleman with a German or Dutch look whom I promised to teach how to quit smoking who checked us in at 12pm. The lobby is very small, the room is very small too. I paid for a room with kings size bed but they put 2 twin size beds next to each other , imitating that it’s a king size bed. The bed was terrible: I couldn’t properly sleep for all five nights. If I could share the video. Nice Nespresso coffee machine, great shower, TV without YouTube or Netflix (for signing to my account and watching). The breakfast was bad. Actually it’s ok if you stay 1 or maximum 2 days. But if you stay more than 2 days the menu is very poor and nothing to eat: eggs, scrambled eggs, strange sausages, cheese, ham, beans, coffee machine etc. in general we are happy with the time we spent in Amsterdam but this hotel is overpriced. It’s kind of 3 or 3+ star hotel and the price per day shouldn’t be so high. It’s overpriced.
There were 2 strange mattresses on the beds, than a cover and the sheet on the top. On the 3rd day we found strange black stains on the sheet. I have a video too but can’t upload it here.

Habitación 425 muy linda!

Muy bien ubicado, personal muy amable!!, desayuno delicioso, limpieza de habitación no muy buena. No cambian las sábanas. Tire por accidente unas gotas de café en la sabana y no me las cambiaron, 3 noches con la misma mancha! Entiendo que sean ambientalistas, lo aplaudo pero si esta si ió esperaría que se cambiara.
