This property looked like they turned an old / outdated aparetment building to a hotel. We had a hard time locating the check in office, as it just looked out of the place for it. Check in lady was nice but the place really is like an old apartment with musty smell from years of use. Hey, we just needed a sleep and is close to the airport. So, it worked for us. If you want a little cleaner, and feel a bit more secure, pay more to stay somewhere else.

First time in Anchorage!

First time in Anchorage, overnight stay. Clean room. Great staff. Someone there helped me carry my bags to my room due to a disability. There is not an elevator and I was unaware of that but everything worked out. Shuttle service from and back to the airport was great and on time.

The staff was very accommodating and was responsive with the airport shuttle getting me to and from the airport even though I had to leave early in the morning for my flight. This is a good quality hotel and a good value.

OK if very basic is all you need.

The good: the beds are comfortable, there is hot water and an airport shuttle and the desk personnel are friendly. The not-so-good: do not expect daily housekeeping service, budget time to make a trip to the front desk to get towels, and do not count on an operational TV. If you just need a place to sleep and do not mind the general run-down look of the property and lack of daily service, this place will do.

The people are kind and helpful. I didn't realize they didn't clear the rooms unless you asked. The place is more than well-worn, it is in a sad need of being revamped. The staff are great, but the place is very run down. After you get used to discolored carpet and the smoking smell, you try not to notice, because the staff work to make you comfortable. I want to be honest in this review, I didn't want to rate it low, but the condition merits this low score.

Positives: Close to airport with shuttle. Relatively low cost. Spacious room. Complementary breakfast with hard-boiled eggs. Negatives: Aging facility. Maintenance leaves poor finishes. One mattress was very soft and noisy.
