No ac so we had window open. Other guests were fighting down the hall all night) . Finish on bath tub peeling off. No toilet paper. Bed lumpy. Door molding broken from forced entry.

Felt VERY unsafe. No key for room, had to ask front desk staff to let us into room each time. Bad part of town. Facility very run down. Nothing like the photos online. We went and got a room in another hotel, even knowing we would lose the money we'd paid for this hotel! Would not stay there even one night!

Please give honest reviews.

We stayed here after seeing many "excellent" 10 out of 10 ratings. I'm guessing those ratings came from someone comparing this facility to living in a homeless encampment. We do a great deal of nationwide traveling. This is, without question, the worse hotel/motel we have ever experienced. It was run down, dirty, hot, no screen on window - so window couldn't be left open, tub was beat up, walls were a wreck, didn't even attempt to sleep in the bed - put our blanket on top and slept on top of that. If it's your only choice left - sleep under a tree in a park...

Disappointed

We were very disappointed with the hotel room. It was dirty. The room was suppose to offer cooking facilities but there was no knobs for the stove burners. When we asked about it, we were ignored and the conversation was changed. The conventional oven was disgustingly dirty. The microwave and fridge were decent. There was garbage and a sock left under the beds. No soaps to bathe with. The towels were blood and grease stained. The room smelt terrible. If you left the door or window open to air out, you’re getting cigarette oder from other guests. Employees were ok. Two really nice and kind. One particular was cold and rude. I waited too long to set my reservation and ended up getting stuck at this place. This was a lesson learned to make reservations way in advance during peak season so not to get stuck at a place like this. Two good things. 1-hot water and shower pressure was great. 2-anywhere I wanted to go, I was 6-14 mins away, so that was good.

Although the room was tidy, it was small, noisy and hot. Someone had locked a dog in the room next door and it was scratching and whining for about an hour to get out. The internet did not work from our room and we had to walk down the corridor to access it. The staff were nonchalent.

Location was excellent. If I were in a self contained camper it would be a fine place to stay.. we were in the hotel. Room was clean, however the refrigerator stopped working, the tub had a continual leak and they may have tried to fix it as evidenced by the wallboard cut out and not reattached to the wall where the fixtures were. bed linens were clean and cute, but the walls looked very scratched and stained. The door was really hard to lock and unlock from the outside. We spoke to management three times during our two day stay to get support for no soap, poor door lock and needing more towels at the start of our stay. Each time the response was “the owners are in transition to updating that”.

The building is dilapidated and extremely dirty. The rooms are outdated and dirty. The bedding and towels were clean, but the bath had a massive crack and the taps were loose. Water was dripping all night long. No card key and np personal room key

The property was terrible, very dirty lots of crackheads surrounding the property. Staff was smoking in the office. We were not allowed a key to our room. The front desk clerk was the only one with a key. The room was grossly dirty, there were holes in the walls. Overall wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Quite frankly I am appalled Expedia has this facility on their site.

The place looks shabby. The rooms look shabby. Bathroom was clean… room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The hallways are dark and dingy. Just needs a paint job. The outside needs a paint job. Place needs new blinds … the ones there just look shabby. I was comfortable but concerned about security tho it my have been unwarranted.

Old and Tired

It was a one night stay after a week long bike trip before I headed back home. Front desk person was kind and helpful. The property is very old and tired. If you are trying to be budget conscious, this is an ok place as it served the need.

Not a good place to stay.

They're are many homeless wandering throughout the property. Uncomfortable feeling at check in, room door was not able to be secured properly. No deadbolt, no safety latch (only half of the latch was present.) floor was sticky. The TV didn't work. No kitchen cookware, dirty cupboards, uncomfortable bed. One usable pillow. The other 3 pillows were throw pillows for a couch placed in regular pillowcases. The door frame needs repair, you can see outside! There was at least 1/2 inch gap! When I checked out, there was no staff anywhere and a vagrant asleep on one of the lobby couches. The property is very old and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

One of the more basic places I’ve stayed. Anchorage can get expensive, so if you're just looking for a place to crash and everything else is booked, it might work in a pinch. Just manage your expectations — the rooms are dated and could use some attention. Staff was fine, but overall not a place I’d go out of my way to return to.
