Property itself was very pretty and felt very traditional. Liked this aspect. Liked the bright little room, TV and A/C worked fine.
Didnât like the lack of information on arrival about where our room was. Bathroom was attached but not ensuite ie shared - would never have booked if Iâd realised this beforehand. NO futon mattress just a really thin âpadâ of material. Really uncomfortable. But what I really disliked was that although the mat had a cotton cover, the top cover was a thin nylon cover with no cotton and smelt unclean.
Really surprised at this. I could have stood the lack of comfort but not the lack of clean covers. Spent one night here of the original 2 we booked.
We stayed at the family room and it was great. Plenty of space for 4 people, clean and with a yard for the kids to play in front of the room. You need a car to move around, but other than that it is perfect for an authentic Korean rural experience.
It would be useful to receive more instructions to check-in... we didn't know what to do at our arrival.
We stayed in the suite, with traditional sitting room and modern bathroom. Really enjoyed the stay in the traditional Korean house. If budget allowed, highly recommend you to stay in the suite. It is as good as the pictures in the website.
