2025 Island Getaway

Wonderful house with excellent access to beach. Pool was wonderful for afternoon swims when the beach was too hot. Temp was 94 - 98 most of the week so the pool at the house offered a cooler alternative. House was very comfortable and a good time was had by all. Would go back again.

Great location- cute pool

Location of property was the main reason for selecting this house. Very close to beach access! The pool was the nicest feature even though it was small. The rest of the outside was nothing. Chairs and umbrella were broken. Beach chairs were not usable. Inside seemed to be recently remodeled and the second best feature of the house and was nicely done. One bedroom didn’t have a door, just a curtain which was challenging. The washer and dryer were tiny and the dryer didn’t work well. The pool alarms were extremely annoying. There were three doors that accessed the pool- all three bedrooms. The pool alarms only worked on one of them and would not disarm on the others, causing them to go off unless you reentered through a specific bedroom.

We loved the house, the pool and the location. The only thing we discussed was the toilet paper quality and that the third bedroom would be perfect if it had sliding doors or at the least some thick curtains to block some noise.

Spring Break

This was a fantastic property in a beautiful setting. We had an issue checking in - we arrived at night and the Wi-Fi was turned off so the key code for the door wasn’t working. We called the on call property manager and were able to access the hidden key to gain access. Overall a great experience and we would definitely book this listing again!

Splendid location. Lovely house.

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful week at Over the Moon. The house had everything we needed - and the pool was delightful. The short walk to the beach (less than 4 minutes) allowed us to go back & forth several times a day. We hope to return for another perfect getaway.

A little piece of paradise

We loved this cute little bungalow house and would stay there again! While it’s an older property, it’s been significantly updated and is very nicely decorated. It worked fairly well for our family of 5. It is a perfect location for heading down to the beach as there are 2 convenient beach access points right across the street. We saw manatees daily as well as a sting ray and found some sand dollars. There were turtle nests marked all over too. It’s an amazingly gorgeous and clean beach! The pool was great to have and the hot tub was wonderful too. It was an easy golf cart ride to anywhere on the N end of the island. It’s a bit far from Publix, but you can get there by cart and there are also local market options with essentials. There is parking for 2 vehicles right in front of the unit and it’s shaded, which was nice for the golf cart so the seats didn’t get too hot. Likes: Plenty of towels/linens/extra blankets Location- close to beach and restaurants etc can be walked/golf carted to Pool/spa Extremely clean property Old bungalow feel with new coastal decor and renovation Wish We Knew/Thought About: -We were aware of the bedroom set up, so it’s totally our fault, but the third bedroom with the daybed would be so much nicer with a sliding barn door or arrangement other than sheer curtains. -There are A LOT of mosquitos in the backyard. Bring bug spray! We also bought our own citronella candles and burned them day and night when out there and they were still awful. -the law is that they must keep alarms on all of the doors going out to the pool. You have to constantly bypass it by pushing a button and rushing in/out. It’s like that everywhere, but a nice to know! -The kitchen is fairly well stocked, but some of the items are worn out/falling apart. Definitely not the worst I’ve seen in a rental though! -the AC has trouble keeping up when it’s really hot. It got pretty hot, but cooled off after sunset. -Uber/Lyft is happy to bring you TO Anna Maria, but we had a heck of a time trying to get out after our stay. There were no cars available in any category and we were sitting outside the rental with all of our luggage and 3 kids in 90+ degree heat. Usually we rent a car, but we barely used it last time bc we always get a golf cart, so we just did the cart and really took some time to finally get drivers to accept our ride request. Overall, it was a really nice stay and we weren’t ready to leave!

Lovely Property

Our family of 2 adults & 2 teens really enjoyed this cozy home during our stay on Anna Maria Island. The trees and landscaping make it very private. The access to the beach was so close we visited the beach multiple times a day. Loved the quiet feel of the location, yet walking distance to donut shop, tacos and a handful of restaurants. Beds were comfortable and pool and hottub perfect.

Lovely beach house

Right near the beach! Great location close to pine street and all the shops and restaurants! Clean, good WiFi, teenage sons loved the smart TVs, lots of utensils in the kitchen for cooking meals in. We would stay again!

Beautiful Property!

The house is exactly as it appears in the listing. Everything was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The backyard/pool is such a little oasis and our kids (13 & 8) loved it, especially the color changing lights. It’s an added bonus that the parking area out front is shaded. We would definitely stay here again. My only comment would be that the nearest beach access, while near the house, is a little tricky. It’s long and narrow and there are some rocks to navigate so if you are carrying a lot to the beach or have someone in your party that has problems with mobility it could be difficult.

PERFECT peaceful paradise!

This property is a dream nestled in the palms of the quiet and peaceful north end of the island! the backyard is an oasis! We loved the pool and hot tub, decor was beautiful in the home, super short walk to the gorgeous beach and awesome location close to pine ave!!! LOVED THIS HOME! Side note, thankfully we did not need the third bedroom- there is actually no door to this “bedroom” and is only separated by sheer curtains connected right to the living room and is a walkway out to the big sliding glass doors to the pool. So, FYI if your group needs that space it could be a little awkward! Otherwise it’s exactly as described and just amazing! Can’t wait to go back :)

Beautiful renovated home with pool on Anna Maria Island and short walk to beach

Beautifully renovated house with nice pool and hot tub. Lovely residential neighborhood, but farther away from town and restaurants than we would have liked. For the price we paid, I would have liked to have seen more than 1 roll of toilet paper for a family for a week. Same goes for kitchen soap, etc... TV in living room was so complicated, 4 of us could not figure out how to get audio and visual. There were no instructions given. Had to call maintenance to come out. We understand the need for alarm on the sliding doors to go out to pool, but we were all adults, and if you didn't get out the door in 5 seconds, the shrill alarm would go off. Must annoy the neighbors. My 80 year old father does not move that quickly, so tripped it more than a few times. Very close to path with beach access and that was nice to have. All in all a wonderful place to stay!

Adorable house

We had a lovely vacation in Anna Maria. The house was very cute and very comfortable. Just an fyi... I am glad i stopped by the house to unload before I went grocery shopping. There was a roll of TP and paper towels but i had to buy everything else. Just so renters are aware. And no beach chairs but they do have beach towels. Pool was great. Hot tub worked well. Loved the location. Inhad to call for Wifi info. They didn't leave it anywhere in house.

Initially there were some issues but the island rental people on the island addressed concerns. The third bedroom really isn’t bedroom It is directly next to common living room area. A sliding lsoor like on the closets would make it more usable as a bed room Other wise everything was lovely and the location was great!

Very nice home away from home!

The property was just as it was described. It was spacious for the 4 of us. We liked that every bedroom had access to the pool. The pool was heated which was a bonus! The hot tub was used everyday. There are no beach chairs which wasn't a problem for us because we drove and brought our own just in case. If we had flown, that would have been an issue. The walkway for the beach is right across the street. The house has been recently renovated and you can tell. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Spacious, nicely decorated and fun home close to the famous Bean Point, just a short stroll to the beach! The back yard is a tropical oasis with a pool and hot tub!
