The game room was a hit, as were the sauna and steam room. It ended up being unseasonably cool, so the pool area didnât become the focal gathering point I thought it would, but it was enjoyed nevertheless. Where you are really is secondary to who youâre with, and for us it was an emotional family reunion. This place was a great nexous for family fun times together. Overall, everything worked as billed, but little things need renewing, like cooking utensils, peeling veneer on the steam room door, worn off labels on the stove cooktop, which otherwise worked fine. I found the safety alarms which I couldnât shut off to be a nuisance that I could have done without. Safety alarms which draw attention to themselves are going to get deactivated by taping over the bypass button. They were loud and obnoxious, and went off all the time and support staff try to tell you there is nothing that can be done about it. I can only shake my head at whoever thinks this is necessary when everyone is onsite. Lighting in the pool area discourages use at night when it would have been pleasant to sit outside and visit. In spite of this, we managed to have a good time and enjoyed the place, but I wouldnât come back here unless the owners do something about the safety alarms.
