Imagine waking up to a view of superyachts gliding through one of Europe’s largest marinas, with a 16th-century fortress and snow-capped Alps as your backdrop. Step outside and you are already in the cobblestone heart of Old Antibes — one of the most authentically French villages on the entire Riviera. The beach is a 2-minute walk. This is not a hotel. This is the real Côte d’Azur.
The apartment has been completely redesigned from scratch by the owner — a Paris-born, Miami and London-raised designer with an eye for detail. At 47m², it is unusually spacious for the old town, with high ceilings, solid oak parquet floors throughout, and an open-plan layout that feels generous and airy.
The living room anchors around a deep cobalt velvet sofa, an ivory bouclé armchair, a 55-inch Smart TV mounted on a full-height slatted oak feature wall, and French doors opening onto a private balcony overlooking the animated street below. The navy kitchen with dark stone worktop is fully loaded: oven, ceramic hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, designer kettle and toaster, full-size fridge, separate washer and dryer, dishwasher. Cook, bake, entertain — everything is here.
The master bedroom is dressed in crisp white hotel linen with terracotta and camel cushions, wraparound white lacquered storage and a premium mattress. The second bedroom features a dramatic full-width slatted oak feature wall, twin sculptural black wall sconces and sage green bedding — equally considered, a different mood. A GHD hair dryer, heated towel rail, toiletries, fitness accessories and a cocktail kit are all included. The bathroom is fully clad in marble-effect with a walk-in glass shower and matte black fixtures.
Three beaches within walking distance — La Gravette in 2 minutes (sheltered turquoise water right at the foot of the ramparts), Le Ponteil in 15 minutes, La Salis in 20 minutes. A supermarket is 100 metres from the front door. A Naturalia organic store, a daily Provençal fresh market, coffee shops, bakeries and concept stores are all within 5 minutes on foot. A dozen restaurants — from fresh seafood on the port to Provençal bistros tucked into cobblestone lanes — plus a cinema for cooler evenings.
