Merveilleux séjour!

Cadre et vue magnifiques. Piscine superbe. Coin barbecue sympa. Villa bien agencée avec tout le confort nécessaire. Un petit paradis.

Wunderschönes Haus in den Bergen

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in einem super ausgestatteten Haus. Die Außenanlage war einmalig. Toller Pool mit atemberaubenden Ausblick.Zweimal die Woche wurde grĂŒndlich sauber gemacht. Sehr nettes Service Personal. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Tavernen in der NĂ€he.Der Anfahrtsweg ist ein wenig abenteuerlich, man gewöhnt sich aber daran. Letztendlich ein perfekter Urlaub.

Nice house with even nicer garden at perfect location

We had a really great stay with an awesome sea view and a lovely garden. Perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you would ask for, mosquito protection in front of ever window/door and clean rooms. Unfortunately, barbecue was not allowed due to governmental ban. However, that’s obviously not the host’s fault.

Very nice house and good location

The house itself was lovely and view’s wonderful. The drive is not to be underestimated, given you are a confident driver and the car has just enough power, you’ll make it. From the key pad, you don’t see the gate as it’s around a corner. But counting to 20 seconds before hitting hard in first gear so you make it past the gate and next to the property is a must. Upon the first visit the gate hadn’t fully opened, no way our car would hill start from that position. My wife was tense every time we haired up the drive! The property was a well presented, appointed and the outside area was stunning, lizards, occasional groups of goats passing by and the great view. My next two points are probably a bit more personal preference types. It’s visited too often for our liking, over the two weeks it had 3 cleaning visits, 2 pool visits and a gardening visit. This could have all been scheduled for a change over Saturday. We are more used to looking after ourselves and not having visits while we are at places (but this may not be a preference for many). The pool may be more suited to teens and older, we have 3 boys (7,9,11). Very active, diving and playful games around the pool but it had many sides with a big drop, too shallow for diving and a slippery step level all around the side. We had no incident but the first week was us issuing too many rules to the kids and worrying too much.

Villa with a view!

The photographs do not do this villa justice! The views are simply breathtaking, and the property is immaculate, with lovely comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The outside space has lots of different areas, so you can find a quiet space in the shade to read a book, or have a drink. The outside eating area is lovely and we spent many evening watching the sunset and enjoying a BBQ. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend this property.

We loved it!

Apart from the heavy way uphill to the house (70 horsepowers weren’t enough for us), we enjoyed and loved our stay there. The house and its surroundings are wonderfully silent and great for friends or family. It’s big enough for all eventualities. Always clean (thanks to Yvonne) and nicely furnished, well-equipped kitchen—a house with everything you need for a longer stay. The pool is lovely, pure fun and beauty especially in the evenings when the sun sets. You can explore much of Crete from there and still it’s easy to just have breakfast, dinner or a cosy stay at the local beach. The locals are so friendly and helpful; we got help quickly when we asked for fresh fish, recommendations and more.

traumhafte Lage, schön Eingerichtet, sehr zu empfehlen!!

Wir waren zu 4. Im Alter von 50. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Traumhafte Lage, schöner Pool,netter Kontakt zur Hausmanagerin Yvonne. Der Traumhafte Ausblick entschĂ€digt die steile Hausauffahrt. Hinweis von uns: Automatik Auto zu empfehlen. Gute Restaurants, Bars direkt am Strand liegend und kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort Almyrida. Auch zu Empfehlen, einen Ausflug zum Kournas-See bei Georgiopoli, eine kleine SĂŒĂŸwasser Oase. Chania mit seinem Venezianischen Hafen ist auch sehr schön. Trotz Corona EinschrĂ€nkung, die wirklich eingehalten wurden, war es fĂŒr uns ein super Urlaub. Ein kleines Manko in der Bewertung haben wir aber....die Matratzen in allen SchlafrĂ€umen sind leider sehr hart...und es gibt keine richtige Kaffemaschine, nur 3 Bodrum Kannen wo man das Heißwasser direkt auf das Kaffeeoulver gießt. Ansonsten wirklich keinerlei Beanstandungen!!! Ankommen, auspacken, abschalten und genießen.

Wonderful villa, managed by a great little company

The villa was better than expected, on arrival - always a bonus. I would say it is mid range, and the pricing reflects that. Spotless and well maintained, and we found every utensil and kitchen item we looked for. The view and pool area are outstanding. The villa is accessed through a steep set of back roads and a very steep driveway. This is the price of the view. Follow the access instructions carefully first time you arrive! Don't stay at this villa without a car. You'll be stuck. There is nowhere of interest in comfortable walking distance (and the walk is exhausting to even the fit members of our party). The local town Plaka (5 minute drive) is good for 3 or 4 tavernas and local shopping. You have to go to the far side of Kalyves to Syn.ka for a larger supermarket with eg. better barbecue food options. The villa company and managers did a wonderful job of communicating with us in very difficult circumstances (we stayed in the first week of August 2020, most local restaurants had only just reopened and direct UK flights only restarted 2 weeks before). The local beach town is Almyrida which is about the right size as the local option. Plenty of eating options there. Chania is the local large town and it's a lovely place, we didn't know it at all and want to return.

Alles etwas abgelegen und nachts sehr einsam und ruhig. Superschön und da das Haus recht hoch am Berg liegt eine Hammer Aussicht die dafĂŒr entschĂ€digt dass man 15 Minuten zum Strand hat...mit dem Auto.

Away from it all Bliss

A wonderful modern villa in a simply stunning location, with views to die for. Once we had mastered the road in (first time on arrival a bit challenging), we thoroughly enjoyed using the villa as a base for some amazing relaxing and getting out and about to see some of the lovely island. Very well furnished, and with a well a stocked kitchen the villa has been very well completed, and as a guest there isn’t much more you could ask for. Couple of minor niggles in getting hold of the house manager when the power went off and we couldn’t get out of the electric gates, but we solved it ourselves in the end!! It is a drive for any tavernas in the evening, but a small selection in nearby Plaka are very decent. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovley Villa Views to die for

The villa , grounds and pool were fantastic clean and well appointed . The views will live with us forever and even though one day it was 37 the slight breeze afforded by position and the umbrellas provided by the pool meant it was always a delight to spend the day and early evening there . The downside was the fact that we were without water for 2 and a half days which although a local issue not to do with the Villa specifically more communication as to when the water might be back on would have helped and if I was managing it I would have provided some water etc rather than the customer having to purchase water to drink and wash in . The directions for getting to the Villa say that the road to it is steep but this is an understatement as the hire care we got would not get up the hill from a standing start from the point where the key pad to open the gate is . The instructions need to tell you that you need a run at it we had to unload the car to get up the hill . All in all would still recommend the villa as a place for a fantastic relaxing holiday but don't get the Villas Crete to book your hire car for you ( Via golden Wheels ) as I feel the age of the one I was supplied might well have contributed to it not getting up the hill to the villa with a full load on .
